The villa is newly renovated in 2007 with a brand new designer pool, all on one level, set in a quiet cul-de-sac close to the golf course. It is situated only 2 minutes drive to the restaurants, bars and shops and only 3 minutes to the beautiful beach of Son Parc. Son Parc golf course surrounds the immediate area with the club house a mere 5 minutes away. Behind the villa is a greenbelt pine forest with lovely country walks. The villa has been renovated to a high standard undertaken personally by us and maintained to a high standard. The brand new equipment includes a fantastic designer pool with separate kids section surrounded by landscaped gardens. There is a covered terrace with built under BBQ and seating area for alfresco dining. Inside you have a spacious living room, separate dining room, separate kids/TV lounge with playstation2, DVD, table football, comfy sofa. large modern kitchen with separate utility room, 2 double bedrooms, 2 twin bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms.

The prices are per week for the villa. Discounts are available for long term winter lets. Good discounts available for under occupancy (2, 3 or 4 people max) (October - March only). 10% discount to all previous customers.

Notes on accommodation
Whats included? Courtesy meeting and luggage/car hire assistance from airport if required, (this service is great for newcomers to the island). Free introduction pack. Personal management service by the owners. No charges for heating, air conditioning and utilities. Free use of one cot or one extra put up bed. Free use of a stroller, high chair, beach mats, parasols, beach and cool bags. DVD's videos, PS2 games, board games, floats, inflatables and books galore. You can travel light! We can also supply free of charge bottle sterilizers, potties, baby bath etc.
Outside
The villa is ideally set up for outside living boasting lots of terrace space housing various sun loungers and patio tables and chairs. The gardens are mainly laid to lawn with mature shrubs and cacti totally private with full height fencing giving you safety for young children. The swimming pool is brand new, teardrop shaped with a separate shallow area for toddlers. We also have a fixed gazebo on the terrace with amient lighting. There is off road parking. Greenbelt pine forest to the rear with fantastic walks across the headland to Arenal Den Castell (15mins on foot)
Coast/Beach
The beach at Son Parc is 4 mins drive away, and has just been awarded the prestigious blue flag for safety and cleanliness. It is dune-like with soft golden sand and is safe for young children. It has amenities to include a bar, restaurant, pedaloes, red cross, toilets etc. The beach at Arenal D'en Castell is 10 minutes drive away.
Golf
The golf course surrounds the local area with the club house being only 5 mins away. It is a 30,000m² full 18 hole par 70 course set in a pine forest. New holes recently designed by Dave Thomas., the ex Ryder Cup player who designed courses including the Belfry and San Roque. It is open 365 days per year and is very scenic and picturesque with resident peacocks and wild fowl roaming the course. There are also great practice facilities including a driving range with swingcam. Buggies and equipment can be hired at the club house.
Special interest holidays
In the next resort of Port D'Addaia (10 mins) you have a scuba diving centre offering try dives through to PADI courses.
Travel
Mahon airport is 20 mins drive. Car hire is essential. We can help book if necessary as we have good deals with local companies.

Mahon Centre and famous port is 15 mins away. Resorts of Arenal D'en Castell and Port D'Addaia are 10 mins away. Fornells fishing village famous for its restaurants is 10 mins away.
Further details
In general there are plenty of shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants 2 mins drive away and within 15 minute walking distance. Just 2 doors up we also have Villa Joan (Ref B4186) beds, 2 baths if you have a really large group. We also have another villa in Port D'Addaia (Ref B1739) Casa Jaimes. If you want somthing smaller in Addaia or an extra couple of bedrooms, my brother has a fab 2 bed apartment nearby (REF B7802). Also look at B6564 and B7098 for other great properties in our family!

About the owner
I would like to introduce us. We are Jason and Michaela McMurray originally from Bedfordshire and now permanently living in Menorca. We moved here 5 years ago with our 2 children Abbie and Sam. After spending all our summers in Menorca for over 13 years, staying in villas similar to the ones we now own to rent out we decided to make available our own properties for summer rental. Having experienced the rental market from both ends and having toddlers to teens we understand first hand what is required with a successful rental property. Home from home, all lifes luxuries! We live in the same area as our rental properties and undertake all aspects from gardening, pools, changeovers and airport assistance, giving you a real personal service.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
Casa Michaela was originally a family home for 20 odd years, owned by the same English family. We live in Son Parc just a few minutes from this villa and always walked our dog past it. It was quite sad and neglected as the current owners hadn't used it for years. We decided to buy it and bring it back to life! We worked personally on it for the whole of the winter of 2006/2007 replacing everything from windows, shutters, bathrooms, tiling, installing airconditioning and clearing the jungle of a garden and installing a fantastic designer pool. The pool and lawned gardens are a great feature as are the extra kids lounge, always a favourite with playstation lovers. Every family has one, including mine! The villa couldn't be in a better location, surrounded by pine forest greenbelt. Tranquil!
