Our apartment is situated north of the island, 6 km from the beautiful fishing village of Fornells and just 25 minutes drive from Mahon airport. This is an ideal base to explore this beautiful island and its numerous beaches and coves. The apartment has a lovely large balcony which overlooks Menorca’s only golf course and is 2 minutes walk from the clubhouse and tennis courts. Restaurants, bars, Spar supermarket are only 10 minutes walk away.

Changeover day
We do ask guests to arrive after 2pm and leave by 10am on day of departure. However we can be flexible to try and accommodate our guests.

Living Rooms: Spacious lounge area with two very comfortable two seater sofas. TV with BBC1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and freeview channels. Family dining area. Patio doors onto large terrace with beautiful views. Optional sun-shade. Two sun beds, chairs and table for six provided.

Outside
Large private balcony area complete with sun-loungers, table and chairs, built-in BBQ. The pool is shared with other guests at Green Park Apartments only. The sun shines on the balcony all afternoon until the sun goes down. There is a sun-shade thats covers the whole balcony if required.

Coast/Beach
Son Parc has a beautiful large white sandy beach, ideal for children. It can be reached in 5 minutes by car or 20 minutes walking. There is free parking, with lifeguard, beds/umbrellas and cafe facilities provided from May-October.

Golf
The apartment is situated overlooking Menorca's only golf course. The clubhouse is just 2 minutes walk away where you can enjoy bar and restaurant facilities. The golf course has 18 challenging and established holes and a round can be enjoyed for approx 55 euros.

Travel
Mahon airport is situated 25 minutes drive from Son Parc. We recommend use of a hire car to explore this beautiful island.

Distances
A short walk away from the apartment you will find a Spar supermarket and local restaurants and bars. Son Parc is situated approx 6 km from the beautiful fishing village of Fornells. Mahon the capital of Menorca is a 25 minute drive away. Here you will find lovely restaurants along Menorcas natural harbour front. In fact nowhere in Menorca is too far away as the island is only 35 miles long by 9 miles wide.

A non-refundable deposit of £100 per week is payable at time of booking. Full payment is required 6 weeks prior to departure.

Relaxing on holiday

About the owner
Jane and I live in Ipswich, Suffolk which is in East Anglia. We are in our early 40's and bought our apartment on our very first visit to Menorca (very scary!! and very Expensive holiday!!). As an air stewardess for the last 17 years Jane has travelled with British Airways to many amazing destinations which I have been fortunate enough to share on occasions. We try and visit Menorca as often as we can as it truly has now become our favourite destination!

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
On a rare rainy day in Menorca we stumbled upon Son Parc as we were looking for somewhere to watch the Ryder Cup. Straight away we were impressed with the warm and friendly atmosphere and the most beautiful surrounding landscape. Following a tentative enquiry about potential properties for sale we were shown our apartment which we immediately fell in love with. The situation of the apartment is perfect for exploring this beautiful Island and with the typically Spanish fishing village of Fornells with its many restaurants on the doorstep means you do not have to go far for some great food and scenery. The airport is also a short drive of about 20 minutes away. However, our favourite place still remains the idyllic view from our balcony. We never tire of the beautiful sunsets!

Unique benefits of the property
Our apartment is situated close to the shared pool and a short walk (15 Minutes) to the family friendly beach of Son Parc. Close by is the Golf Club which provides excellent food and there are several other restaurants nearby if you do not want to go too far. However, there is always the option of staying in and enjoying a BBQ on the terrace. As an avid golf fan I have played the golf course on many occasions and it is a challenge to the most accomplished of golfers. Although the apartment is an ideal base we strongly recommend that you hire a car to explore this most beautiful Island with its many secluded beaches and quaint Spanish towns. No where in Menorca is too far. Enjoy!
