Located in a quiet part of Son Parc with off road parking for your car. The downstairs comprises a well equipped kitchen, downstairs toilet and good sized lounge. Upstairs the main double dedroom has fully fitted wardrobes and a balcony. The rear bedroom also has a fitted cupboard and small balcony. As we use this frequently ourselves it is fitted out to a good standard and regularly maintained. It is very well equipped to include TV, video and stereo. Outside there is a large communal pool and a safe shallow pool for toddlers. A large sun terrace overlooks the pool area whilst not being on top of it. There are well maintained enclosed communal gardens and play equipment for younger children. It takes no longer than 10 minutes to walk to the beach via steps or a more gentle stroll through the dunes. The centre of Son Parc is again a 10 minute walk with a good variety of restaurants, bars and shops. Son Parc golf course is a 5 minute drive and provides good quality golfing.

Notes on accommodation
Cots and high chairs can be provided on request for a small charge. Whilst air-conditioning is not fitted, ample fans are available and the louvre doors allow a good flow of air even in the height of summer. The main terrace has a gate to enable you to provide security for small children. Upstairs balcony railings are a good height.

Accessibility
We do not consider this property suitable for wheelchair access due to steps.
Outside
The shared main pool is approximately 40ft by 20ft and has a shallow and deep end. The toddler pool is a continuous depth of approx 2ft. There is a children's play area and ample lawn and terracing to sit on deckchairs around the pool.
Coast/Beach
Son Parc beach is a 10 minute walk away. This is a wide horseshoe shaped bay, which provides excellent safe bathing, snorkelling, etc. It is always attended by professional lifeguards. There is parking adjacent to the beach, should you wish to take the car, and a good snack bar. Other than this, it is unspoilt by commercialism.
Golf
5 minutes drive will take you to the high quality golf course which has been extended to 18 holes. This provides full facilities including buggy and equipment hire and driving range. The course is well maintained and provides an excellent challenge for all standards of golfer. Tennis courts are also available for hire adjacent to the golf course. A good quality restaurant is also sited at the golf club.
Travel
Mahon airport is a 30 minute drive, and Son Parc is easy to find. Car hire is availble at the airport, but we would recommend pre-booking this. Taxis operate from the airport.
Distances
Most places in Menorca are easily reached via a good network of quality roads, and Son Parc provides an ideal base from which to explore the island. Nearest resorts incude Fornells - a 10 minute drive away, and Arenal D'en Castell, 10 minutes in the opposite direction. These are larger resorts offering a wide choice of shops and restaurants.
