Gates on terrace for privacy and saftey of young ones.
Outside
Outside dining furniture seats 4, 2 sun loungers and barbecue. Large communal pool with separate children's section. Also a children's play area. In the sister development of Siesta Mar 2 are many activities for youngsters including water slides and a football pitch.
Coast/Beach
Beautiful sandy horseshoe bay beach is 10 mins away down steps, or take the train ride down in the breeze and see the sights as you go along! WC and showers on beach, sunbed and parasols to hire along with pedloes. Beach bars and restaurants. The bay is shallow so ideal for young children.
Travel
Mahon airport is only 10km away, so 15 mins in a taxi. A car is not nescessary, local bus transport available in season 3 mins away. The island is so beautiful, with many places to visit, ports, harbours and picturesque towns. Not to mention the many wonderful beaches that are along the south coast.
Distances
Cala n' Porter centre is 5 mins walk, with all local amenities. The capital Mahon is 15km away, 20 mins in car, fantastic port, take a trip here around the harbour or dine at one of many restaurants. Cala Fonts, another port, is very pretty with shops and restaurants sit and watch the world go by! Cuitadella, the island's old capital, is only 40 mins away. Walk under the arches in the narrow lanes by the cathedral.

Son Parc has a golf club and horse riding school. Visit Fornells another harbour known for Paellas and water sports!
Menorca is famous for its local gin, leather shoes and being one of few parts of Southern Spain with real character and charm. White washed buildings and green shutters! The fiestas are held all summer with the famous horse parade, Cala n' Porter's fiesta is the 2nd weekend in September.
