Soller/Port de Soller have recently been featured in both the Sunday Telegraph and Conde Naste Traveller magazine, as great holiday destinations combining beach, mountains and culture. 3 bedroom top floor apartment consisting of double bedroom with en suite bathroom, a further double bedroom and a third bedroom with 3 single beds and a further house bathroom. The large living/dining area offers spectacular views of the mountains and opens to a spacious terrace for outside dining. Fully equipped kitchen with brand-new appliances and laundry room. The apartment is air conditioned and has central heating. Outside there is a large communal pool and garden area with sunbeds. The apartment is located in a quiet spot, yet very near many restaurants, bars and shops. The marina and beach are less than a 10 mins level walk away. A car is not essential.

Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. There is a an additional cleaning charge of £65 per booking of 4 people. For bookings for 5 people or more the cleaning fee is £95. A returnable £100 deposit is required to secure the booking, which is additional to the full payment which is required 4 weeks before the rental. The £100 deposit will be returned to you within 21 days of the end of the rental period, on safe return of the keys and satisfactory condition of the apartment.

About the owner
We purchased our apartment in 2007 and refurnished redecorated at that time. We use the apartment for ourselves and family and to rent out to other like minded people. My wife and I are both professional people (both dentists, but don't let that put you off!) and have a practice in North Leeds. As such we are used to dealing with customers in an organised and professional manner and have the facility to take credit/debit card payments over the phone. We have an agent on site, so if there are any problems, like lost keys etc, then there's someone on hand to help.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We purchased the apartment because we wanted somewhere near the coast for sailing/boating but also somewhere that had character & other activities apart from the obvious attraction of the beach .We love the French influence on the architecture & the fact that a lot of Soller is unspoilt & authentic,mainly due to its geographic isolation from the rest of the island, before the tunnel was built 12 years ago.The apartment is in a great location,6 minutes flat walk from the front & with many interesting walks straight from the apartment. The community park, playground,running track,football pitch are only 3 minutes away, so plenty to keep you occupied. There are approx 50+ restaurants in the immediate area,so you're really spoilt for choice, & no we haven't visited them all of them yet!

Unique benefits of the property
The apartment is a home from home. We enjoy visiting the market & purchasing the fresh produce & pottering about the port. However Soller is well placed for visiting the rest of the island with the tunnel & the motorways- its only 30 minutes from Palma & the south coast or 40 minutes from Pollenca & the north coast. There is a lot more to Mallorca than just the beaches. There's plenty of cultural activities, fiestas & fincas to visit. Our neighbours are friendly & the apartments are mainly owned by local residents so there's never a crush round the pool, where our kids spend a lot of their time.There is a lot to be said for doing backstroke looking up at the mountains & watching the birds swooping over head.
