Newly refurbished villa has double bedroom upstairs with private bathroom and two terraces. Downstairs two further bedrooms share another bathroom. There is a spacious living/dining area and fully equipped new kitchen (fitted Spring '07). The backdoor opens onto a veranda, close to the swimming pool. The terrace at the front of the house has comfortable outside table and chairs and BBQ. The islands 18 hole golf course is a 3 min walk from the house. There is also a driving range and putting green and tennis courts. The spectacular beach at Son Parc is shallow and ideal for children. The pituresque fishing port, Fornells, is a short drive away and offers many watersports and catamaran charters. The buzzing Mahon harbour is 20 mins away and offers boat trips and many restaurants. The old towns of both Mahon and Cuidadela are wonderful to visit if you tire of the pool and beach. Monte Toro is well worth a visit to enjoy the spectacular views over the entire island. Ideal for families.

Changeover day
Preferred changeover day is Friday but flexible. The property can be accessed from 2pm on day of arrival and needs to be vacated by 10am on day of departure.

Accommodation
Bedrooms: Bedroom 1: spacious with double bed and large fitted wardrobes.
Bedroom 2: comfortable with bunk beds and single bed and extensive fitted wardrobes.
Bedroom 3 with twin beds and fitted wardrobes.
Cot available.
Bathrooms: 1 en-suite bathroom with 2 basins, toilet, bath with shower and bidet. 1 family bathroom with 1 basin, toilet, bath with shower and bidet.
Kitchen: Newly fitted Spring 2007: Cooker, hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, toaster, sink, usual utensils and cookware.
Utility Room: Washing machine and laundry sink.
Living Rooms: Living/dining room with dining table to seat 8, 1 large double sofa and 2 chairs. TV/DVD player, radio/CD player.
Other: There is a wood burning stove in the living room and individual room heaters for the cooler months.

Towels and linen are included and changed weekly. Beach towels are not provided.

Outside
At the back of the property there is a shared pool which is rarely busy. The properties are all maintained to a high standard and the small gardens are maintained by a gardener. At the front of the property there is a terrace with comfortable patio table and chairs. There is also a BBQ. Sun loungers and sun chairs are also provided.

Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is at Son Parc, a 5 min drive or 20 min walk away. The beach has crystal clear water ideal for snorkelling and also has a bar and restaurant. There is a life guard in high season and sun loungers and umbrella's can be rented. Pedallo's are available for hire. It is shallow and ideal for children. Plenty of parking is available. Menorca has more beaches than Majorca and Ibiza put together, making it a paradise for beach-lovers and families alike.

Golf
Son Parc's 18 hole golf course is ideal for players of all standards. There is also a putting green, pitching green and driving range. All equipment and buggies are available for hire.

Travel
Mahon airport is a 20 minute drive from the villa (approx 35 Euros for a taxi for 4 people).

Distances
Menorca is the smallest of the Balearic Islands and so nothing is more than a 45 minute drive away. Fornells, a pituresque fishing village/port is 10 minutes by car and offers restaurants for all budgets, swings for the children and many watersports. There are also shops and restaurants within a 10 minute walk. The golf club house offers both a bar and restaurant menu and is 2 minutes away.

Further details
Menorca is great for exploring, with the reward of beautiful beaches, clear blue water and lush country side - with none of the crowds found elsewhere. The pituresque local fishing port, Fornells, is a short drive away and offers sailing, windsurfing, diving and catamaran charters. Mahon's buzzing harbour (second largest natural harbour in the world) offers boat trips and a large choice of restaurants for all tastes. The old towns of both Mahon and Ciudadela are each worth a visit when you tire of the pool and beach. The seafood is fresh and delicious and the lobster stew, calderata de llagosta, is a specialisty. The potential for creative self catering is excellent too - lcoal fresh produce from the market with mayonnaise (born in Mahon) and finished off with 'queso Mahon' the delicious local cheese. There is also a sports centre in Mahon which offers a gym and indoor swimming pool. Monte Toro is the highest point on the island and the church is wonderful to visit to enjoy the spectacular panoramic views over the entire island. Early risers will love Menorca as it is the first place in Spain to see the sunrise. In 1993 UNESCO declared Menorca a Biosphere reserve, ensuring that large parts of the island should be protected as either Areas of Special Natural Interest or Areas of Rural Landscape Interest.

Booking notes
A 20% deposit per week on booking. Balance of payment is required 6 weeks prior to arrival. A security deposit of £75 to be paid by separate cheque sent with the balance payment against loss or damage (this will be refunded after inspection of the property).
