The Royal Savoy complex is located next to the sandy beach in the tiny bay of Cala Vinyes. The new private pool and sunbathing facilities are available to guests at no extra charge. All bed linen and towels are provided and there is a property manager on the site during office hours. TV / DVD is provided with access to the free-to-view channels only. The new kitchen has a fridge/freezer, auto washer/dryer, microwave and electric oven and hob and dish washer. The apartment has been refurbished this year. A local supermarket is adjacent to the complex. This is a wonderful place for family holidays with many clients returning each year. A car is useful, but not essential, as there are so many beautiful places to explore throughout the island.

Bedrooms: The front bedroom has twin beds and fitted wardrobes, air-con and a ceiling fan, en suite bathroom and patio doors onto the balcony. The rear bedroom has twin beds, fitted wardrobes, air-con and a ceiling fan and is next to shower room.
Bathrooms: The en suite bathroom has a bath with freeflowing shower over, and has a basin, w.c. and bidet. The shower room has a freeflowing shower, basin and w.c.
Kitchen: The new open plan kitchen has a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, auto washer/dryer, microwave and electric oven and hob, iron and board.
Living Rooms: The living room has a leather sofa, rattan sideboard, coffee table, TV/DVD, ceiling fan, and air con, patio doors onto balcony facing the sea.
Other: The balcony has a table and 5 chairs and a drying frame.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Beach towels, bathroom towels and bed linen are included and will be changed on a weekly basis. Cleaning is also provided weekly. A cot and high chair can be provided on request.

Notes on accommodation
Air Conditioning has been fitted this year and will be controlled by a credit meter requiring token cards available from the site manager. The control has been fitted to prevent the waste of energy, ie.air-con left running with the windows open!

Accessibility
The apartment is conveniently situated at car park level for easy access, but is on the 4th floor facing the sea, providing stunning views over Palma Bay.
Wheelchair access to the beach is not a problem but a flight of steps has to be climbed to sit around the pool.

Outside
The new swimming pool and paddling pool are located in front of the complex over looking the sea and are surrounded by straw sun shades and loungers. The pool is only for the use of residents in Raphael, El Greco and Renoir.Any extra sun beds required by visiting friends will be charged at 5euros per bed and should be paid directly to the manager (Paco) at the end of your holiday.
Private gardens surrounding the 3 apartment buildings, with a tennis court for the more energetic.
A snack bar provides drinks and meals throughout the day and evening. There is a barbecue facility on the terrace.
Pine trees virtually surround Cala Vinas and a 30 minute walk along the coastline will take you to another delightful undeveloped beach.
3 small local supermarkets and 3 restaurants are within a gentle stroll from the apartments.
Hire a car or taxi and a host of entertainments are within a few minutes drive. Dinner shows, night clubs, go carting, Aqua park and Marineland.

Cala Vinas is a tiny cove with a sandy beach, palm trees and a soft sandy swimming area.

Golf
There are 4 golf courses within a 10 minute drive from Cala Vinyes.

Travel
Cala Vinyes is approximately 25 minutes from Palma de Mallorca airport.

Distances
The capital, Palma is a beautiful city with a host of attractions both day and night. Approximately 10 miles around the coast.
Santa Ponsa, Magalluf and Palma Nova are virtually on the door step and a few minutes by car or bus.

Initial booking enquiries should be made by telephone.
A non-returnable deposit of £100 per week is required to secure your reservation.
Full payment is required at least 8 weeks before departure.
A set of keys will be sent by post with full address details before departure a 2nd set of keys will be left in the apartment.
Keys should be returned in the SAE provided on returning to the UK.

About the owner
I live in Yorkshire with my husband and younger son. Our older two children are now married with children of their own. The apt was bought 30 years ago by my in-laws and seven years ago we bought a second apt so that all the now extended family can holiday together. (Only one apt is let out!) Grandparents do have their uses! Cala Vinas is perfect for family use. The beach,pool,supermarket and family restaurant are all a 'stones throw away'. Many families like our own are now four generations old and still going back! We have refurbished the apt within the last two years and it has met with family approval! We also have six families who book from one year to the next.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
The apartment was bought by my in-laws after several very successful holidays in the Cala Vinas hotel, which was the only Forte hotel on the island. Its ease of access from the airport (only six hours from the UK), tremendous view of Palma bay, safe beach for young families and use of tennis court. On site manager who is there all year round.

Unique benefits of the property
Meeting the same families who return every year. Immediate access to the pool and beach. No need to have a car with young families as the Cala Vinas supermarket is only 200 yards away if self catering. There are two family orientated restaurants only two minutes walk from the apartment.
