Outside
Sun flooded terrace with dining table and chairs opening onto our own private well stocked garden. There is an awning for shade with sun loungers, occasional tables plus an additonal umbrella. A gate from the garden opens directly onto the beautifully landscaped communal lawned gardens that surround the shared swimming pool. There is a nominated secure parking space in the car park.
Coast/Beach
The harbour is within a few mins walk. There are diving schools in the port and many charter companies where motor and sailing boats can be hired from. There are beautiful beaches locally, a small pebbled sandy beach in a 10 min walk whilst Camp de Mar and Sant Elm, recommended beaches, are 10-15 mins drive away.
Golf
Andratx Championship Golf Course nearby, a 15 min drive and there are many other beautifully set golf courses on the island.
Travel
Palma airport is approx 35 mins drive from Puerto Andratx. A car is recommended for touring the island though not essential as all facilities are within easy walking distance.
Distances
Approx 500m walk to centre of resort, restaurants within 2 mins walk. Andratx town is 10 mins drive where there is a busy local market held every Wednesday.
Further details
There are many fine restaurants, bars and harbour-side cafes (superb for relaxing and simply watching the world pass by) within the resort, at both ends of the price spectrum. A large supermarket, with bakery and is also within easy walking distance as are the many excellent small shops. There is a small tourist information office in the port able to give advice on many additional activities/local events. There is free wireless internet access at Cappacinos Cafe in the port, as well as an internet cafe.
