A comfortable, spacious, 200 year-old recently refurbished traditional Mallorcan stone house, in a pretty quiet setting, yet very close to the town square and its amenities. The house has lovely outdoor space with an array of scented flowers, herbs, figs and lemons to pick. It is ideal for relaxing and al fresco dining. Being south facing it enjoys the sun all day long. An idyllic spot.

Changeover day
Changeover is normally a Saturday although this is flexible off season. Departure is before 11am and entry after 3pm.The housekeeper will greet you at the house.

Bedroom 2 with double bed and daybed.
Bedroom 3 with twin beds.
Bedroom 4 with twin beds.
Bathrooms: En suite bathroom to bedroom 1 with bath/shower over, handbasin, wc, bidet.
House Bathroom with shower, handbasin, wc and bidet.
Kitchen: A large airy kitchen with spacious dining area off, flowing onto the terrace. Electric hob/oven, microwave, fridge/freezer dishwasher, washing machine etc.
Woodburning stove,with olive wood,off season. A large oak dining table seating 8.A Low dresser.
Utility Room: There is a utility area, for additional fridge/freezer, ironing board, iron, linen cupboard etc.
Living Rooms: The house has 2 living rooms. There is a living room with 1 large sofa and 1 small sofa. Satellite TV, DVD/X box.This room is very comfortable,cosy in the autumn/winter after a days walking!
There is a 2nd room/childrens den with books and boardgames etc
Other: All the rooms are large. The 2 double bedrooms also have a fullside day bed in each. All rooms have heaters and ceiling fans
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Towels and linen are included, and changed weekly. House is cleaned before and after occupation.

Notes on accommodation
The 2 double bedded rooms also have day beds suitable for young babies toddlers, there is also a cot.
Younger chidren/teenagers may enjoy playing on the X Box provided.
The house is equipped to be enjoyed all year round.

Outside
There is a good size outside terrace that runs the full length of the property, with an abundance of plants lemon, orange trees and figs. The terrace adjoins a neighbouring orange grove and benefits from great mountain views. The terrace has a large dining table/chairs seating 8, and is great for al fresco dining. Umbrellas, sun loungers and BBQ are provided.

Coast/Beach
The port of Soller with its sandy beaches is about 5 mins by car or 15 mins on the tram from the town centre, the tram journey is through the valleys lush orange groves, an enjoyable experience. There are lots of bars and restaurants and the opportunity for boat trips/hire, watersports etc.

Golf
Plenty of golf courses nearest course is a 15 min drive.

Special interest holidays
The port has facilities for boating, watersking and fishing.
Organised walks are available along with bike hire.
The town also has a tennis club and outdoor pool.

Travel
The town is approx 25 minutes from Palma airport, through the new mountain tunnel. The town has good public transport, bus and historic train to Palma and tram to the port,so hire car isn't necessary unless you wish to explore the surrounding area and villages etc.

Distances
The pretty villages of Binniarix and Fornatlux are closeby 5mins by car. Deia is 12 km and Valdemosa is 20 km. Palma is approx 30 mins by car.

Further details
Good location.The square is a short walk from the house and has lots of bars and restaurants. It has a good local indoor market for fresh fish and vegtables, with a bustling outdoor market on Saturdays. There is good shops, bakeries and deli. The port also has some good restaurants particularly good for seafood. There is a regular tram service from the town to the port, a picturesque journey. The art - noveau train station has a gallery currently with a collection of Picasso and Miro works.
