This 2 bedroom apartment located on a small cove some 5 minutes walk from the village of Sant Elm. Sea views through the gardens to Dragonera. Off the beaten track the village retains much of its traditional Spanish charm with no loud bars or discotheques. A place for boats to moor offshore before sailing up the mountainous west coast. There are some small shops, a local bank and quite a few good restaurants.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week and do not include any transport to or from the airport. Extra Linen charges may be incurred if use of the Sofa Bed is required. Cots and High Chairs may be hired at an extra cost on request.
Changeover day
Changeover day is on a Tuesday for most of the year. Some flexibility may be available in the quieter months of April and October.

Notes on accommodation
The hire of a cot, highchair or buggy can be arranged if required. There is no air conditioning but fans are provided for the hot summer months. The apartment is on the top floor.

Accessibility
There are some 20 steps leading up to the apartment from the road so it would not be suitable for anyone using a wheelchair or who has problems with mobility.
Outside
The apartments are situated in beautiful flowered gardens full of pelagonium and Bourgainvilla. The sun comes on to the terrace at midday and stays till sunset. Direct access to the sea is available by walking through the gardens. Sun loungers are available for hire by the sea and there are steps into set into the rocks for deeper water swimming and snokeling. Note: there is a communal sea water pool but this may not be available for use in 2007 unless modifications are met under EU legilsation (TBA). There is a large terrace with dining table and chairs and sunloungers.
Coast/Beach
Sant Elm has 2 sandy beaches approximately 5 mins walk from the apartment. They are sheltered, shallow and quite safe for children. The apartment itself is on a small pebbled beach with many rocky coves that are ideal for scuba diving and snorkelling. There are many flat areas on the rocks for sunbathing
Golf
The nearest golf course is at Camp De mar some 20 mins way. The international course at Santa Ponsa is a 30 min drive.
Travel
The main airport in Palma is a 45 min drive away. The taxi fare is around 45 euros each way. A car is recommended for ease of food shopping, sight seeing and for a wider choice of restaurants and nightlife in the evening.
Distances
The closest town is Andratx with its big local market every Wednesday morning. Port D Andratx,is some 10 mins drive away, where local fisherman still set sail each morning. It is better known for its restaurants, art galleries, designer shops and visiting yachts and ‘gin’ palaces. From Andratx you can take the road to Palma some 30 minutes away or drive up into the scenic mountain region towards Deya and Valdemosa.
Further details
The closest restaurant which serves excellent sea food is right by the apartments, next to the gardens on the waters edge. For the more active client, there is a Scuba Diving school at the end of the village. There are many walks through the pine forests beyond Sant Elm. A favorite walk is up the mountain and through the pass to Sa Trappa which is the site of a deserted monastery.
Booking notes
Availability is from Tuesday to Tuesday. A £50 deposit is payable per week, on booking the apartment with the remainder payable 5 weeks before arrival.
Guest comments
A visitor's guest book is kept in the apartment and there are always comments about the beauty and peaceful atmosphere that Sant Elm provides.
