Travel
Palma airport about 35 minutes drive. Tram stop to the village of Soller, 5 minutes walk from the apartment. Likewise the bus stop is approx 5 minutes walk. A hire car is not essential as everything is within walking distance. Transport to and from the airport can be arranged.
Distances
The market town of Soller dominates the valley of orange groves and terraces of olive trees (4km away). The town is overlooked by the highest mountain (Puig Mayor) on the island. Nearby are the villages of Deia, Valldemossa and Fornalutx. Excursion boats from the Port are available to see the spectacular coastline.
Further details
Port de Soller is famous for its fish restaurants and fresh fish is available direct from the fishing boats every evening.

Great location, just my husband and I, beach right on the doorstep, romantic late night walks along the promenade, restaurants within easy reach. Loved the apartment sitting on the balcony drinking G&Ts watching the sunset.
Four of us in the apartment was a bit of a squeeze but we had a great time. We could let the children go to the beach on their own with the beach being right outside the front door and a very safe area. The apartment did us proud and we had such a great time we will definitely come back.
