The apartment has an open plan kitchen/dining, living room. The kitchen has all a full oven and hob, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, full range of cooking and kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery, glasses. dining table and 4 chairs. The living area has a sofa bed, TV/DVD player, books & games, the French doors open onto the communal lawned garden. The bedroom has a double bed, large built in wardrobe & French door which also open onto the lawn.

Changeover day
The change over day is flexible. Although we do not operate a strict check out or arrival time, some days it may be necessary to ask you to depart/arrive at a certain time.

Bedrooms: Bedrooom 1 with double bed. Double doors opening onto lawned gardens. Built-in double wardrobe, bedside and dressing table. Hairdryer.
Bathrooms: Fully tiled bathroom comprises full bath with shower attachment, washbasin, wc and bidet. Washing machine.
Kitchen: Kitchen/dining area with dining table, four chairs, electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, full range of cooking and kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery and glasses.
Living Rooms: Living room with fireplace, double sofa bed, French doors lead directly to private patio, with table & chairs and lawned gardens. TV (no channels), with CD/DVD Small library of books, DVD’s & games. View to sea.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Bed linen and bath towels are provided and changed weekly. The property is cleaned between lets. Additional cleaning is available if required and payment is direct to our management company. Please bring your own beach towels.

Two shared pools available to use, one has a shallow area, suitable for smaller children.

Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is within walking distance (approx 10mins)This is a lovely sandy beach which never gets crowded even in the height of summer. A small supermarket is close by.

Golf
The island's golf course at Son Parc is a 10 minute drive.

Special interest holidays
Playas De Fornells is just 5 minutes from the fishing village of Fornells. Here the bay is approx 3 miles by 1.5 miles and is an excellent, safe location for motor-boating, sailing and windsurfing, all of which are available for casual hire. Courses can be booked in advance. The bay is a popular destination for sailing and motor yachts. Albufera Es Grau is a large natural reserve about 15 miles away.(Ideal for bird watching) it entices visitors with lagoons, pine woods and farmland as well as diverse flora and fauna.

Travel
Mahon Airport is approx 25 minutes drive away. The road system on the island is very good and well signed. To make the most of the island a car is essential. Car hire is very easy to organise from the airport.

Distances
The nearest large town is Mercadal which is at the foot of Monte Toro, at 1,000ft, it is the highest point on the Island. Mahon is the capital and is 15m away. It has excellent shops, a cathedral, and one of the largest natural harbours in the world. Ciudadela is 20m away and is a beautiful port of Moorish design looking towards Majorca. It has spacious squares, elegant buildings, a cathedral, excellent shops and numerous harbour-side restaurants.

In 1993, UNESCO declared the island a biosphere reserve; since then administrators have emphasized preservation of Menorca's natural harbors, pristine beaches, rocky northern coast, and network of farmlands.
Menorca has many many wonderful beaches - here are four different beaches that are our favorites -
Santo Thomas
It's a large sandy beach, reasonable facilities, good car parking.
Cala Mitjana
Beautiful bay, sandy beach & truly clear water. "Hairy" drive to the car parking area - but don't be put off by this. Get there v.early, as car parking is limited & the beach is closed if the car park is full. Take a picnic, no facilities.
Cala Galdana
Large sandy shallow bay, but lots of rock pools on the opposite bay. Good snorkeling. V.Good facilities & car parking.
Cala Trebaluger
Another Beautiful bay, sandy beach & truly clear water. Again "Hairy"
drive to the car parking area - but don't be put off by this!!! Fair walk to the beach, but via pine trees so good for bird watching etc. Again get there v.early, as car parking is limited & the beach is closed if the car park is full. Take a picnic, no facilities.
I could go on & on, do explore, lots more beaches to try. Bear in mind that as if the weather is not so good/windy on one beach, then move across the island, in the space of a few miles the weather can be so different.
