The property is situated on a headland in Cala Ferrera between two sandy beaches. Although the apartment is in a quiet location the shops and bars of Cala Ferrera are very close by (1 minute walk). The beautiful town of Cala D'or is a 10 minute walk away where you can wander around paved areas amongst bars and restaurants undisturbed by cars. There is a stunning marina for boat enthusiasts and Vall D'or golf course is just a 10 minute car journey away. Buses and coach trips can be arranged locally and leave every day to take you to Palma, the local markets, the water parks and other places of interest. Local sightseeing trips by boat leave very close by.

Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible, however the apartment must be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure and will be available from 3pm on the day of arrival. These times are flexible if no-one else has booked for these days.

Bathrooms: Bathroom with hand basin, toilet and large shower cubicle.
Kitchen: Fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, oven, hob, washing machine and microwave.
Living Rooms: Large living room with double sofabed, TV, DVD player , sky tv and stereo. There is a separate dining area which seats 4. Patio doors lead out into the garden, fitted with security grill.

The property is cleaned and clean linen and towels are provided for your arrival and at the end of the first week for a 2 week stay. Please bring your own beach towels as these are not provided.

Notes on accommodation
This property is ideal for children as it is ground floor with a garden. The garden is not gated so children will need supervision in this area and in the pool area as no lifeguard is present. Only Couples preferred but families accepted. Sorry No Pets. Apartment is no smoking, however smoking is welcome outside on the terrace.

Outside
Nice garden area with view of sea, patio, table and chairs and loungers. Shared pool with fantastic views of the sea.

Coast/Beach
The sandy coves of Cala Ferrera and Cala Esmeralda are a 5 minute walk from the apartment.

Golf
Vall D'or Golf course is a 10 minute car journey away. Information can be forwarded to you by us. We have details of prices of green fees, club hire etc. Vall D'or also has a restaurant, snack bar and swimming pool all in luxurious surroundings looking out over Porto Colom and Cala D'Or.

Travel
The Islands' Airport is Palma which is a 30-45 minute car journey from the apartment. You can either hire a car or take a taxi the choice is all yours. Once at the apartment a car is not essential as you can walk to local areas or get a bus, coach or taxi to go further afield. If you like to explore and plan your own trips then a car would be an advantage. For those hiring a car we do have a designated parking space.

Distances
Cala Ferrera is right on your doorstep with a mini supermarket and shops and bars. The town of Cala D'or is a 10 minute walk where you will find banks, shops, restaurants, chemist, doctors and a large supermarket.

We provide can provide a hire service from a local company for items such as buggies & parasols, high chairs, steam sterilisers, air conditioning units etc please ask if you require an item and we will see if it is available and quote you a price.

Booking notes
A non-refundable 25% deposit will be required on booking with the balance due 8 weeks before departure. A breakages desposit of £150 will be required with your final payment which will be refunded once the keys have been returned and the apartment checked for breakages.

We had a wonderful holiday thank you. What a lovely apartment in a gorgeous place. Everything we could want was on the doorstep. We loved the beach at Cala Esmeraldam my little girl thought the Starfish boats were great, I think she waved at all of them. We can't waid to come back next year. Hello, I am married with two children aged 8 and 10.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
I have holidaying in Cala Ferrera for 32 years. Firstly with parents then with friends. When I met my husband I introduced him to the area and he, like me, fell in love with it. We decided to buy a property as we knew we would always take our holidays in Cala Ferrera and hopefully our children would follow in our footsteps when they are older. We love Cala Ferrera, because it has something for everyone. I once heard a teenager say "I really like it here as you could come with your mates or your could bring your Granny" and this is really true. The area is picturesque with the lovely rocky coast line and small coves. You can be a quiet as you want or go into town and join all the action. The local people are friendly and we have many good friendships over the years.

Unique benefits of the property
The way in which our property is situated is fantastic. From our garden you can see the sea as we are on a headland. It is very quiet around our complex. Our swimming pool overlooks the sea and even in August is not too crowded. We are in a cul-de-sac and therefore there is no passing traffic. Although the complex is quiet that does not mean that it is in a remote location as when you walk a few hundred yards up the road you will find bars, restaurants and many shops. The main town of Cala D'or is a 10 minute walk away and the marina is a stunning location to dine in the evening - you see it really does have something for everyone.
