The apartment enjoys full sun all day, overlooks the bay of Port de Sóller and the mountains, and is very quiet and peaceful day and night. But 50 metres through the front door and immediately you find a wide selection of cafes, bars and restaurants, and yachts moored all along the quay. Port de Soller Sailing School is at the beach and offers a full range of sailing courses and tuition. The Scuba diving school is near too and is fully catered for. Sóller valley is surrounded by the Tramontana Sierra and is an idyllic spot to path tracking lovers. The apartment leads either to the mountain peaks trough wonderful countryside paths, or to the seaside. Port de Sóller and Sóller share its valley with the village of Fornalutx and the hamlet of Biniaraix; the combined population is around 15,000, and the valley is famous for its orange groves and terraces of ancient olive trees. The artist village of Deią is just down the coast.

Coast/Beach
Port de Sóller beach provides safe swimming for all ages a 5 minute away from the apartment. Is ideal for snorkelling and wind-surfing.
Golf
Golf within 30 mins drive.
Travel
Sóller and its Port are about half an hour drive from Palma Airport, and have very good connections with railway, tram and bus services.
There's a taxi rank at the airport to meet flights at all times of day and night. Fare should be from 39 to 45, depending on the arrival hour (night has a supplement).
Car hire is recommended to move around the island, but not essential. If you decide to hire a car is better to do it on internet: eg. carjet or premiercarhire.

Port de Sóller is situated on the west cost, 25 Km of Palma town, 10 Km from Deią, 3 Km from Fornalutx and 3 Km from Port of Sóller.
