Binibeca (also know as Binibequer) is situated on the South of the island, just twenty minutes from the beautiful main city of Mahon and the airport.
This is a quiet family orientated place, with mainly villas rather than the noisy bar/disco/hotel scene of some other resorts, although there are plenty of restaurants/shops etc.

Notes on prices
Prices are per week in UK Pounds. We do charge a 25% booking deposit, with the balance being due 8 weeks before your arrival date.
Changeover day for both villas is Friday.
We reserve the right to alter prices (we might have made an error on input!)
We do not charge a security deposit but do hope our guests will respect the villas.

Villa Feliz

Situated alongside Villa Doc, with the same view. The villa has two main bedrooms (with twin beds) and a very comfortable sofa bed in the living room - allowing for sleeping arrangements for up to 5-6 people. One bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with washbasin, shower and toilet and there is also a main bathroom with a bath/shower, toilet, bidet and and washbasin. There is a fully equipped kitchen in the dining/living room with a French door connecting to a delightful and spacious patio - ideal for sunbathing and enjoying eating outdoors. The kitchen contains a large fridge/freezer, electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Sunbathing space is plentiful on the extensive patio; there is also an outside barbecue for guests to use. There is a TV with DVD player and freesat facility giving all of the UK's freeview channels. |

Notes on accommodation
There are fans in each room. Villa Doc has 26" flat screen TV and DVD player (no SKY or terrestrial reception - just for DVD's and gaming).
Villa Feliz has a TV and DVD player with freesat reception giving all of the UK's freeview channels.
WIFI: for those of you who can't leave home without it, Wireless Internet Access is available in several bars a short drive away in St Lluis and Punta Prima - free but polite to order the odd drink/coffee.
Sa Botiga at S'Uestra on the way to San Lluis has WiFi & big screen in the bar.
EROSKI supermarket (Big Red) San Lluis has WiFi in cafe area.
Bed linen/sheets and house towels are provided;
You will need to take your own beach towels.
Outside
The accessible swimming cove in front of the villas has shelved rock platforms and steps to access the crystal-clear water - great for snorkelling - remember to take your mask and snorkel. This cove is a rare commodity on Menorca.
Villa Doc and Villa Feliz do not have swimming pools, which is reflected in the very reasonable rates charged (villas with pools tend to rent for a great deal more per week and generally do not enjoy such a good position); however, there is a lovely pool a five minute walk away in the fishing village and the beach is only a 10-15 minute walk away.
What can be better than hearing the sound of the sea from the terrace?
Both villas have brick built barbecues on their outside patio space.
Villa Doc has a roof terrace for sun-bathing and star-gazing.
Plenty of sun loungers at each villa as well as chairs and tables for outside eating.
Coast/Beach
The safe beach is just a 10-15 minute walk away and that beautiful swimming cove you see on the picture really is 50m away from the villas (and, yes, you can hear the waves lapping).
Menorca has a host of beautiful beaches to suit everyone.
Golf
Son Parc Glof Club is approximately 30 mins drive to the NNW of Mahon near Arenal d'en Castell off the Me7 road. Tennis in Binibeca Nou. Cricket Club nearby too - lovely just to go and watch with a glass in your hand.

Fly to Mahon, Menorca from most major airports.
Distance from airport is about 20 mins.
Distances
Mahon and airport 15-20 minutes.
San Luis - Good shopping is only 3.5 miles (6 mins).
Punta Prima - 3 miles (5 mins).
Further details
There are shops and restaurants nearby and within easy walking distance (a car is not essential and a taxi to and from the airport tends to costs £15-20 depending on number of people and quantity of luggage). There are also bus stops nearby if you want to go and visit Mahon, the main city.
Menorca is a great destination for walking in the spring/early summer (the flowers are abundant) & autumn months. The ancient 200km Cami de Cavalls (Bridle Way) has just been reinstated. Maps available at Tourist Office on Port. Walks taking you into fantastic countryside which you simply would not realise is there. This really has put Menorcan walking back on the map.
The Menorca Cricket Club (MCC) is a 15 min drive away near S'Uestra. There is usually a game to watch at the week-end at a lovely ground with a bar!

We do not charge a security deposit as we trust you to look after the property (and, so far - we have not been let down!!)
The Villas are fully insured against major catastrophe but you will need your own travel insurance for the usual things such as theft of belongings, health and accident etc.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
Our parents bought Villa Feliz in the 1960's and added Villa Doc in the 80's.
We spent many happy family holidays here as youngsters and now both we and our children come back every year to enjoy the place.
