The villa was designed for us to use as our own holiday home thus being it is well equipped and now available for holiday rental. Our villa will be like your home in the sun, not equipped like standard tourist villas, but like your actual home. The villa comprises of 1 master suite on the first floor with an en suite shower room and private terrace with views of the sea, further double bedroom, twin bedroom and a twin room with bunk beds. The ground floor bedrooms have direct access to the pool area. There is a family bathroom, spacious living area with seating and dining area. It also has a modern well equipped kitchen. Outside there is a large 10x4 swimming pool with a large sunbathing terrace, shady undercover terrace for al fresco dining, gardens laid to lawn totally fenced in giving privacy and safety for young children. We provide all the extras free of charge that you normally pay separately for or have to bring in your suitcase making our villa a fantastic holiday home.

Notes on accommodation
Whats included? Courtesy meeting at the airport and luggage assistant from airport if required (available capacity 4 persons only and only on arrival, subject to availability). This is really for newcomers to the island. Free introduction pack. Personal management service by the owners. No charges for heating, air-conditioning and utilities. Free use of 1 cot or 1 extra put up bed. Free use of strollers, high chair, beach mats, parasols, beach and cool bags. DVDs, videos, PS2 games, board games, floats, inflatables and books galore. You can travel light! We can supply free of charge bottle sterilizers, potties, stairgates etc.
Outside
The villa is ideal for outside living with a large 10x4 pool with sunbeds, lawned mature gardens with 8 ft hedge all round the perimeter, off road parking for 1 car, fully fenced in for privacy and safety for youngsters. There are 2 eating areas. One in the sun with a parasol, and one under the covered terrace where you can find a barbeque.
Coast/Beach
We have 2 beaches within 4 minutes drive. Na Macaret is very small and great for young children. Arenal D'en Castell is a large soft sand beach in a horseshoe cove, beautiful and safe with plenty of amenities and pedaloes etc.
10 minutes drive you have the beaches of Son Parc, Es Grau, Tirant (Fornells). You can also get to the south coast beaches within 15 minutes (Son Bou).
Golf
Nearby in Son Parc (10 min drive) you have an 18-hole championship golf course open to the public.
Special interest holidays
In Addaia you have a port, scuba diving centre offering try dives through to PADI courses. Swimming in the Cala Moli. Fantastic walks all round the resort as it connects to the famous cami d'en Kane (the footpath round the whole island).
Travel
Mahon airport is 15 minutes drive. Car hire is recommended to appreciate the beauty of the area. We can help book if necessary as we have good deals with local companies. There is a good bus service to other resorts and the main towns.

Distances
Mahon Centre and famous port is only 10 minutes drive.
South coast resort of Son Bou with waterpark/bowling etc is 15 minutes drive.
Fornells fishing village famous for good restaurants is 10 minutes drive.
Further details
We have within walking distance a good restaurant providing evening entertainment, tapas and home cooked pizzas (WiFi). A excellent bistro serving traditional English and Spanish cuisine and one Irish late bar with great family entertainment. New for 2012 we will have the Taj Indian restaurant (moved from Mahon). There is also a little bar in the port that serves tapas. We have a Spar supermarket and newsagent/gift shop, nautical shop and diving centre. Within 5 minutes drive you have the larger resorts.
We also have another 2 villas in Son Parc (REF B2062 & B4186) Casa Michaela & Villa Joan near to the golf course. If you want somthing smaller in Addaia or an extra couple of bedrooms, my brother has a fab 2 bed apartment nearby (REF B7802). Also look at B6564 and B7098 for other great properties in our family!

About the owner
I would like to introduce us. We are Jason and Michaela McMurray originally from Bedfordshire and now permanently living in Menorca. We moved here 5 years ago with our 2 children Abbie and Sam. After spending all our summers in Menorca for over 13 years, staying in villas similar to the ones we now own to rent out we decided to make available our own properties for summer rental. Having experienced the rental market from both ends and having toddlers to teens we understand first hand what is required with a successful rental property. Home from home, all lifes luxuries! We live in the same area as our rental properties and undertake all aspects from gardening, pools, changeovers and airport assistance, giving you a real personal service.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
Casa Jaimes was our first villa. We had the villa built from scratch to our own design. We fell in love with the area after renting a similar property in Addaia for many years. It is in the best location, very central and very tranquil. Over the years it is lovely to see how well the garden has matured and is now very private with 6 foot high hedging all around. From the villa you can walk to the sea in 3 directions in under 3 minutes. Addaia is a very well respected residential area, not what you would call a resort. Don't let the fact Addaia not having it's own beach put you off. It is a plus! No thompson buses, but the beach is just round the corner , only a five minute drive! Addaia is an up and coming village. Lovely people and very neighbourly. A true mix of locals and foreigners!
