All the properties are all located within the small and prestigious private resort of Playas de Fornells, this resort is considered so outstandingly beautiful and unique that it has been awarded the coveted ‘Place of Special Interest’ by the Spanish Government and now part of the National Park. Set alongside the bay of Tirant and the foot hills of the National park it is surrounded by pine woods and gentle rolling pastures on one side and the bay with its dunes and soft sandy beaches on the other. The whole area has been planted with the most glorious tropical gardens and is the essence of peace and tranquillity. Everywhere you look there are breathtaking views of the sea, the hills and the smells and colours of tropical plants. The properties are kept and maintained to what we believe to be one of the highest standards obtainable in private letting and we strive to make sure your property represents a true ‘home from home’ to ensure you have a wonderful and memorable holiday.

Positioned in one of the best locations on the resort this beautiful and luxuriously appointed property has had no expense spared to ensure it is a home of outstanding quality and style. Located on the ground floor, it is modern, light and spacious and has the benefit of its own terrace and little private garden. To the rear of the property are the incredible tropical gardens, ponds and courtyards of the community. The property consists of a lounge with a large sofa, easy chairs and double French windows that open up onto the terrace. There is a kitchen with a breakfast bar, full size cooker, fridge/freezer microwave, washing machine etc. and a separate area for dining. The large bedroom has a double bed and fully fitted wardrobe and air-con. In the bathroom there is a power shower and full size bath. For your entertainment there is a TV/DVD and a Hi-Fi as well as a safe for your personal belongings. Car parking is just outside.

This deceptively large & cosy ground floor garden property has been decorated, equipped and furnished to an extremely high standard. There is a large double bedroom, open plan kitchen and a light and airy lounge that leads to a spacious bathroom with latest 'walk in' shower. The bedroom has a fully fitted wardrobe and window with open vistas of the gardens. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes fridge/freezer, combi oven, full size hob, microwave, washing machine etc. There is also an American style breakfast bar and plenty of working surfaces and storage space. The lounge/diner has a comfortable settee, dining table and chairs and full width French window opens that open out onto the private terrace, complete with furniture, and gardens with views of the coastline and gardens. A delightful & exquisite property set amidst lush, verdant botanical gardens surrounded by open courtyards, lawns, ponds and a waterfall with the sea just 50 yards away. The property has been furnished, decorated and equipped to a very high standard and includes washing machine, fridge/freezer, Sky TV, DVD etc. The bedroom has 2 full size single beds with fitted wardrobe. In the bright, colourful lounge there are comfortable chairs and sofa. The lounge doors open up to give a full view of the gardens and access to the private garden terrace, complete with furniture and open views across the bay. The kitchen/dining area is fully equipped to include full size cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave etc. The dining area looks out to the sea and gardens. The bathroom has a full size bath as well as a shower, there are fans in bedroom and lounge. Car parking and a stunning full size infinity pool with sun terraces and sun loungers are only a few yards away.

Notes on accommodation
All the properties have been furnished and equipped to a very high standard and we think we’ve thought of everything you need to ensure a truly memorable holiday. They are especially suitable for family holidays owing to their proximity to all the amenities including beautiful beaches, swimming pools, shops and café/bars. The whole area is a true haven of peace and tranquillity, perfect for those seeking to simply unwind, relax and soak up the uniqueness of this very special place. We provide all linen and towels (except beach towels) and these are changed weekly. There is a hair drier and iron in each property. Air-conditioning or bedroom fans are standard in all the properties and the accommodation is all on one level. Parking is near-by and all properties have mounted safes for your extra security. We are on call 24 hours a day in case you encounter any unforeseen problems or have any queries during your stay. A cot and a fold-up bed are also available on request.
Accessibility
All the apartments are on the ground floor and are suitable for wheelchair use. Que Suerte is located at end of a cul-de-sac and only a few feet from parking area, whilst Cascada is only a few feet further with a private parking bay close-by. Sa Caseta is approximately 50 feet from the communities private car park.
Outside
This private resort is built into the hills that overlook the bay of Tirant ensuring you have spectacular views wherever you are. The nearby pine woods, plants, meadows and wildlife are of such beauty and significance that the area has been declared a National Park. The uniqueness of the design and the sensational location has made this resort one of the most photographed in the Mediterranean and has been designated as ‘A place of special interest’ by the Spanish Tourist Board. The little safe and sandy beach is only a few minutes walk and the larger beach backed by dunes is just a short walk over the new causeway. For those more intrepid, there are numerous little rocky coves to explore and there is a spectacular coastal walk to the internationally acclaimed fishing village of Fornells. The resort includes several small but well stocked supermarkets, as well as friendly café/bars and excellent restaurants.
Coast/Beach
The properties are located within a few metres of the sea and only a minute or so from numerous little coves, perfect for swimming, snorkelling and discovering the abundant marine life beneath you. The main beach of Tirant is a few minutes walk away. Within 15 minutes drive there many more unspoilt beaches to discover. Golf
There is a full size golf course 7 kms away.
Travel
The airport (Mahon) is approx 20-25 minutes drive away, car hire is not essential but there are car hire facilities on the resort. The port at Mahon is also approx. 25 minutes away and has a daily ferry service to and from Barcelona.
Distances
Close by there are all types of boating and sailing activities as well as boat hire and scuba diving. There is horse riding with a few minutes drive and plenty of fabulous walks through the woods and valleys. The wildlife biosphere at Albuferia is only 30 minutes away as is the beautiful old city of Mahon and the old medieval citadel of Ciutadella is only slightly further. For those who prefer antiquity, Menorca has plenty of historical sites.
Further details
The resort of Playas de Fornells is different from what many people expect a seaside resort to be, as whilst self sufficient in its amenities it is the very essence of peacefulness and tranquillity as there are no nightclubs nor does it have wall to wall bars. The emphasis is on 'La Calma' - where you are encouraged to simply relax and let the world pass-by. The peacefulness and tranquillity together with the self-sufficiency of this resort make it an ideal destination for both families and couples of any age. There are plenty of activities in and around the resort, albeit most of them water based, diving, wind surfing, snorkelling, kayaking, sailing, etc whilst horse riding, walking, cycling, golf, boat trips and of course shopping are all on hand nearby.
The capital of Mahon is well worth a visit as is the spectacular harbour (second largest in the world) and visit the little ‘tiendas’ and tapas bars in the old city squares and along the harbour. The old capital of Ciutadella is a medieval walled city that was built by wealthy merchants and still contains many of their palaces , try the cobbled narrow streets that adorn the old city centre near the cathedral or visit the old fish market or the fruit and vegetable stalls. The island has over 300 beaches most of them unspoilt, having no commercial activity at all, our own favourites are on the Cape de Cavalleria close to Fornells, here you can expect to see amongst many others, wild goats, eagles, ospreys and little egrets.

Booking notes
Bookings can be for any period (min. 3 days) from any day of the week. Bookings over a week are charged pro rata. We make no additional charge for extra occupancy, cot hire or extra bed. We accept credit/debit cards through our Paypal account.
