New luxury semi-detached 2 bedroom house by the sea on a small complex of 8 villas in the village of Betlem, at the eastern end of Alcudia Bay. With sea and mountain views and gardens to the front and rear and a shared 20m pool and tennis court. This is a wonderful romantic village is bordered by huge mountains and the sea, close to a conservation area. The rugged coastline has numerous rocky coves and white sandy beaches. There are plenty of costal paths ideal for walking or cycling. The villas are 200 yards from the sea. Betlem has 2 restaurants and bars (one ‘El Caso’ is adjacent to the complex) and a small bakery. 3km along the coast is Colonia de Sant Pere which has a promenade, marina, 22 restaurants, banks, supermarkets and a pharmacy.

Changeover day
Preferred changeover day Saturday. This can be negotiable depending on the time of year. Earliest check-in 3pm and check-out at 10am.

Central heating for winter time. No pets allowed. It is possible for large parties to rent one or both adjacent villas, to occupy 1, 2 or 3 villas simultaneously.

Outside
Gardens to front and rear. Large patio area with outside furniture and barbecue. There is a 20 metre pool. A section is designed for small children. There is a superb all weather tennis court. There is private parking adjacent to the villa.
Coast/Beach
Sea (rocky coves and small sandy beaches) - 200 yards.
Large sandy beach - Colonia de sant Pere - 3 km. You can dine on the promenade and watch your children play on the beach or swim in the sea.
Golf
There are 6 excellent golf courses within a 30 mins drive. These include - Capdepera, Pula, Canyamel, Son Servera, Alcanada and Pollenca. I would highly recommend Pula and Alcanada.
Travel
Palma airport - 45 minutes by car to Betlem. Car Hire is recommended. I have an arrangement with Xoroi Cars based in Betlem. They offer an airport pick up and return service with car hire from Betlem. They are based in a building adjacent to the villa complex. Further information will be given on booking.
Distances
Nearest towns, Arta (ancient village) 9km and Manacor 25km.
Further details
There are numerous activities to pursue in the local vicinity. These include, coastal and hill walking, cycling, golf, watersports (yacht and powerboat hire), snorkeling and swimming in the clear water, sea fishing, birdwatching and painting. The medieval town of Arta has many art galleries and restaurants. There are numerous beautiful beaches within a short drive dotted around the north coast.
Booking notes
£200 per week non-refundable deposit. The balance is to be paid no later than eight weeks before departure. Full terms and conditions will be supplied.

Andrew and Jane Davies (Aug 2006) - fantastic villa, beautiful location. Children loved the pool. We could have a lazy drink on the veranda and watch the children swimming below. There are several beautiful beaches to explore too. Highly recommended and we'll definitely be coming again.
