Changeover day
Preferred changeover day Friday but other days considered depending on bookings. Guests must vacate by 10am and new arrivals will be able to enter after 2pm.

Accommodation

Notes on accommodation
All our appliances are electric, including water heater, there are no gas installations/boilers. We have a sattelite box, you may provide your own card if you have one. Otherwise channels available will be limited. Also DVD player for your use. Cot and high chair available for rental at villa at a cost of 20 euros each per week.

Amenities/Facilities provided

Outside
Sun loungers and seating at both ends of the 8x4m pool. Steps from the pool lead to a mature garden with olive trees providing shaded seating and outdoor eating area. There is a portable BBQ available.

Coast/Beach
A very pretty horseshoe shaped beach at Cala’n Porter is only 2 mins by car or 10 mins on foot. The water is shallow and safe and it is a white sandy beach ideal for families. There are 3 beach bars that serve tapas and snacks and there are toilet facilities. In the afternoon you can catch a mini train (on wheels) from the beach and it will take you back to Cala’n Porter which the children will enjoy.

Golf
Golf course at Son Parc approx 30 mins by car. Pleasant clubhouse with restaurant over looking course. Recently updated to 18 holes.

Special interest holidays
Sailing and water sports at Fornells approx 10-15 miles away.
Horse riding centre off San Climente road just outside Cala'n Porter.

Travel
Mahon airport is approx 20 mins by car to the villa. Car hire is available from the airport or in Cala'n Porter. A hired car is a good way of seeing the island. If you do not have a car there is a regular bus (bus stop 5 mins from villa) or there is a local taxi service.

Distances
Shops and restaurants 5 mins walking distance. Mahon, the capital is 20 mins by car.

Further details
Spa including many jacuzzis, steam,sauna and turkish baths with health / beauty treatments at the Hotel Audax, Cala Galdana. Open to non residents. Approx 35 mins by car from cala n porter. We spent a fantastic day there and had a buffet lunch afterwards. Basic spa starts at approx 17 euros. More details can be found in the villa.

Booking notes
Non refundable deposit of £125 per week is due on booking. The balance is payable 8 weeks before departure date. Damage/key deposit of £200 payable as separate cheque with final balance. Will be returned 3 weeks after departure on return of keys/no damage reported.
