It is large and airy with white walls, timber rafters and terrazzo flooring. A private roof terrace, which gets the sun all day, gives a panoramic view of the sea and the far side of the Cala. Shops, supermarkets, cafe/bars, restaurants, car hire, taxis, telephones, mini-golf, tennis and a bus-stop are all close by. Val D'Or, a well-maintained and attractive golf course with superb views, is about ten minutes drive away.

Outside
The shared pool is 8m x 4m so more suitable for children. There are several other large pools close by that may be used, and the sea swimming is excellent. There is direct access to the sea by ladders from man made platforms. Just 250m away is a sandy beach with a good snack bar.
Coast/Beach
Steps to sea beside the complex. Also two beaches with beach-bars 200m/300m.
Golf
There is a well maintained and attractive golf course about 10 minutes drive away at Val D'Or.
Travel
About 1 hour to Palma airport. Transport to and from the airport can be arranged.
A car is not essential but, if one is required, a firm can be recommended either locally or at the airport.
Further details
Cala D'Or, which is about 1km from Cala Ferrera, is a small and rather upmarket holiday resort with a wide variety of restaurants, cafes, bars, boutiques and shops. Horse-riding, tennis, mini-golf, bowling, discos, boat hire and water sports are all available. There are boat trips each day along the coast with various types of craft including a glass-bottomed boat calling at Cala Ferrera to collect passengers.
Cala Llonga, which is a half hour stroll or about 5 minutes drive from the apartment, has an impressive marina and some very good restaurants. There are also good and varied restaurants out in the countryside within easy driving distance. Tours can be arranged locally to many parts of the island. Nearby places of interest include the caves at Drach and Hamm, the monastery at San Salvador, the pearl factory at Manacor and the local markets at Felanitx and Santanyi.
