There is a covered terrace with plenty of good quality wooden garden furniture and a large second terrace. It has a well maintained level garden with large built in gas BBQ, mature palm trees providing shade throughout the whole day and a lawn for children to play. Sit and watch the boats sail in and out of Mahon harbour. There is access from the end of the garden to the large pool which is set in its own lovely and private gardens. It would be difficult to find a property in a more delightful situation. Everything possible from down pillows to specially commissioned water colour paintings on the walls has been considered for comfort and convenience in this sophisticated property.

Notes on prices
Prices are for property per week in UK Pounds. Additional days charged pro rata. Prices based on 4 people sharing. £75 per week for a 5th person. Whenever possible, I aim to be flexible regarding change-over days. It is recommended that appropriate insurance is arranged to cover cancellation. In case of cancellation, where insurance has not been arranged, if the property is re-let all monies paid less 30% deposit will be refunded. If the property is not re-let, all sums paid will be forfeited.
Changeover day
Whenever possible,change-over day is flexible.
Arrival after 2pm. Departure by 10am. (Late flights can occasionally be catered for with the additional day charged pro rata). Please ask.

Notes on accommodation
Oil filled radiators and electric blankets are available for early spring and autumn holidays. It's position at the end of a private path, well away from any traffic, makes this property particularly suitable for families with young children.
Outside
Along a small path, away from any traffic, the garden is a safe haven for children. You can sit on the terrace, sip a glass of wine and watch the boats sail past on their way in and out of Mahon harbour. This property has the added advantage of a lovely, shaded garden-a rarity in S'Algar. There is a large built in gas BBQ.
Coast/Beach
There are several restaurants, bars, a bakery,small supermarket and a variety of small shops. The resort is home to the famous S'Algar Diving School which offers a wealth of activities and training. There are other sport facilities. Ideally situated on the south-east of the island, a short drive from the safe, unspoilt sandy bay of Alcaufar, Punta Prima and the well-known resort of Binibequer. There is a path close by leading down to Cala Rafalet, with its crystal clear water and sandy bay.
Travel
A very easy 15 minute drive from Mahon Airport.
Distances
Mahon is less than a 15 minute drive. You will be able to visit the open air market, famous fish market, a variety of shops and sit by the harbour to enjoy a drink, tapas or a full meal from a wide range of cuisines while you watch the luxury yachts come and go. Es Castell, about a 10 minute drive, is a small interesting bay for a stroll or meal. Sant Lluis, the main town in the area, is less than a 10 minute drive and has plenty of shops, bars, restaurants and a very large supermarket.
Further details
S'Algar, a prestigous environment very close to the small fishing village of Alcaufar, Punta Prima, Binibequer and the secluded Cala Rafalet, offers a selection of reasonably priced restaurants, bars, souvenir shops, a bakery and a children's playground.
Sant Lluis, with a larger selection of shops, banks and a large Eroski supermarket, is less than a ten minute drive.
Menorca is very much a safe haven for family holidays and has, since 1993, been designated as an UNESCO Heritage Site. This is enthusiastically supported by all local residents. Very strictly enforced building controls ensure the absence of large developments. Menorca is also designated as a natural reserve of the biosphere. Great care is taken of the environment and indigenous bird and wild life. Menorca is friendly and relaxing. The people are honest, helpful and dignified.
Booking notes
It is my policy to maintain prices, which are based on four people sharing, at a fair and reasonable level. There is an additional charge of £75 for an extra person. 30% deposit within 4 days of receiving details. Balance nine weeks prior to departure. Alternatively, payment can be made by regular Standing Orders.
