Each have two bathrooms. In furnishing and equipping these sophisticated properties every possible thought, from providing down pillows to specially commissioned water colours on the walls, has been given to comfort and convenience.

| Position is everything! It would be hard to find another such spacious and well equipped apartment offering this degree of privacy, huge terrace, stunning views and two bathrooms. Situated in the beautiful Alta Mar gardens, well away from any passing traffic, there is easy parking,a lockable gate, masses of garden furniture and built in gas BBQ. The sitting room has two large sofas,one with a pull out bed suitable for a child up to about 11 years of age, three armchairs, a dining table and chairs. There is a satellite television, CD and DVD players. The separate kitchen has granite work tops, double sink unit, fan oven, halogen hob, large fridge/freezer, washing machine, dish washer and microwave oven. Both bedrooms, one with a king size bed, the other with twin beds, have French windows overlooking the terrace with its views across to Majorca and Santo Tomas. Sit in bed and enjoy the view! Notes on accommodation
Towels and linen are included. The properties are thoroughly cleaned prior to arrival. Fresh linen is delivered at the end of each week. Please bring your own beach towels. Oil filled radiators and electric blankets are available for early spring and autumn. The position of these apartments in the colourful Alta Mar gardens, away from the road, make them particularly suitable for families with young children. These are no smoking apartments.
Outside
There is a very large, shared pool and large private, south facing terraces with plenty of good quality garden furniture, BBQ's and sun awnings. Easy parking in very quiet cul-de-sac.
Coast/Beach
Son Bou beach is almost 4km in length and is fine, white sand. Although less than a 10 minute walk from Alta Mar, a car is recommended. A wealth of activities makes this a very popular holiday destination for families with children of all ages from toddlers to teenagers.
Golf
The nearest golf course is in Son Park, about seven miles away.
Travel
Approx 20 minutes by easy car journey from Mahon Airport.
Distances
Son Bou is 6 kilometres from Alaior, the nearest town.
A visit to Mahon is a 'must'. There is an open air market in the square, the famous fish market and a variety of shops of all descriptions and types, including designer wear. You can enjoy an evening stroll and sit and enjoy tapas or dinner along the port and watch the luxury yachts as they come and go.
Further details
Son Bou is very popular with families and has activities for all ages, pedaloes, a water park, a children's maze, shops, supermarkets, a wide selection of restaurants, evening indoor and outdoor entertainment, also, a new bowling alley. The coastal walk to Santo Thomas takes approximately 1 hour and to Cala Galdana about 3 hours. Son Bou is an ideal spot for bird watchers.
Menorca is very much a safe haven for family holidays and was, in 1993, designated an UNESCO Heritage Site and natural reserve of the biosphere. This is enthusiastically supported by the local residents. Great care is taken to support the bird population and indigenous wild life. Strict building controls ensure the absence of large developments.
Booking notes
It is my policy to keep prices to a fair and reasonable level. A 30%, non-refundable, deposit within 7 days of receiving details with balance 9 weeks prior to departure. Payment also by regular monthly Standing Orders. It is recommended that appropriate insurance is arranged to cover cancellation. In case of cancellation, where insurance has not been arranged, if the property is re-let all monies paid, less deposit, will be refunded. If the property is not re-let all sums paid will be forfeited.
