Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds, based on 4 sharing. 5th/6th person an additional £75 per week. Additional days are charged pro rata. Friday is the usual change-over day, but flexible change-over day when possible.

All beds have sprung mattresses and down pillows. From the French windows of both are stunning views over the long terrace and down to Son Bou beach and beyond to Majorca and Santo Tomas. Sit in bed and enjoy this spectacular view! There is a large, fully tiled bathroom with double length walk-in shower. The sitting/dining room has four armchairs, dining table and chairs, satellite TV, DVD and CD players. It has direct access onto the very long and completely private, south facing terrace. Families love the privacy and stunning views, many returning year after year. Sit and watch the glorious sun sets over Majorca and Santo Tomas. There is a modern, fully tiled, kitchen with granite work tops, halogen hob, fan oven, fridge/freezer and microwave. There is also a washing machine. This apartment, situated in the beautiful Alta Mar gardens, well away from any passing traffic, has a huge, private terrace with BBQ and stunning views. The lockable gate makes this property very safe for young children. The large sitting/dining room has a large comfortable sofa and armchairs, dining table with six chairs, a satellite television set, CD and DVD players and a chest of toys for young children. A folding bed is available for a child up to about 12 years of age. The separate kitchen has plenty of storage cupboards, granite work tops, double stainless steel sink unit, fan oven, halogen hob, large fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave oven. Both bedrooms have full sized twin beds, fitted wardrobes and French windows overlooking the enormous terrace with its stunning views across to Majorca and Santo Tomas. The sitting room has two large sofas,one with a pull out bed suitable for a child up to about 11 years of age, two armchairs and a dining table with six chairs. Notes on accommodation
Towels and linen are included. The properties are thoroughly cleaned prior to arrival. Fresh linen is delivered at the end of each week. Please bring your own beach towels. Oil filled radiators and electric blankets are available for early spring and autumn. The position of these apartments in the colourful Alta Mar gardens, away from the road, make them particularly suitable for families with young children. These are no smoking apartments.
Outside
There is a very large, shared pool and large private, south facing terraces with plenty of good quality garden furniture and a sun awning. Easy parking in very quiet cul-de-sac.
Coast/Beach
Son Bou beach is over 3km in length and is fine, white sand. Although less than a 10 minute walk from Alta Mar, a car is recommended. A wealth of activities makes this a very popular holiday destination for families.
Golf
The nearest golf course is in Son Park, about seven miles away.
Travel
Approx 20 minutes by car from Mahon Airport.
Distances
Son Bou is 6 kilometres from Alaior, the nearest town.
Further details
Son Bou is very popular with families and has activities for all ages, pedaloes, a water park, a children's maze, shops, supermarkets, a wide selection of restaurants, evening indoor and outdoor entertainment, also, a new bowling alley. The coastal walk to Santo Thomas takes approximately 1 hour and to Cala Galdana about 3 hours. Son Bou is an ideal spot for bird watchers.
Booking notes
Rental prices are deliberately kept as low as possible with a view to full occupancy throughout the season. A 30%, non-refundable, deposit is due within 7 days of receiving details. Balance 9 weeks prior to departure. It is recommended that appropriate insurance is arranged to cover cancellation. In case of cancellation, where insurance has not been arranged, if the property is re-let all monies paid, less deposit, will be refunded. If the property is not re-let all sums paid will be forfeited.
