The Villa
|
|
The villa was constructed in 2001, on a large plot, using modern building techniques but in the traditional Menorcan style. It is in a quiet area and very secluded. The plot provides a secure play area for children as it is enclosed by a wall and gates. The villa is superbly equipped, to a very high standard, with all modern conveniences for a stress free holiday. The airport is fifteen minutes away and the flight path sometimes provides an opportunity for plane spotting! The sheltered, sandy beach is a five minute walk away and provides safe swimming for all abilities. There are four restaurants within walking distance and the popular village of Binibeca is about twenty minutes walk away, five minutes by car. Binibeca has a good selection of shops, boutiques and restaurants. There are a number of supermarkets within easy driving distance therefore a car is recommended.

Changeover day is Friday during the main season.
Changeover days for low season bookings can be flexible.

The large lounge/diner has a dining table and chairs, sideboard (with extensive book and game selection), three piece suite, coffee table, CD player and TV with satellite. |

Marble staircase to first floor. Roof terrace with panoramic sea views - ideal for private sun bathing or a secluded meal for two!
Ground floor bedrooms have French doors opening directly to terrace and pool. |
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service: |
All towels and linen are included (except beach towels). For two week stays a maid service is included where linen is changed and bathrooms cleaned. A welcome pack of basic food and drink is provided on arrival. |
Notes on accommodation
The villa is fully air conditioned with the units also serving as heaters when required. The proximity of the pool to the villa and terrace and the security of the plot make this an ideal villa for families with children. There is a grassed area for young David Beckhams!

Outside
The private pool is larger than usual at 10m x 5m. There are 6 sun loungers, a coffee table and large parasol. Outdoor dining is provided with an octagonal table with parasol and 6 chairs.
Coast/Beach
The main beach at Binisafua is a 5 minute walk away. There are a number of sandy coves within easy reach by car.
The well known beach at Binibeca is a 5 minute drive away and has lounger/pedalo hire, toilet facilities and a bar serving drinks and light snacks.
There are numerous rocky outcrops nearby providing excellent swimming and snorkelling.
Travel
The airport at Mahon is a 15 minute drive away and the flightpaths provide an opportunity for plane spotting from the villa! Planes do not fly at night. Car hire is considered essential for properties in Binisafua.

Sant Lluis, 4 miles.
Cuitadella, 25 miles.
Alayor, 8 miles.
Further details
The main Mahon/Cuitadella road has a number of shopping outlets selling locally produced wares e.g. leather goods, baskets and the famous Menorcan sandals.

Please contact via e-mail to confirm availability. A 20% booking fee is required. The balance of the payment and a £200 breakage deposit (fully refundable) is due 8 weeks before the holiday date.
It is strongly recommended that you take travel insurance out at the time of booking.
