Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. We are happy to take enquiries about longer term stays over the winter months for mid-week or weekend golfing breaks. Please contact owner to discuss rates.
Changeover day
The changeover day for rental is usually Saturday, although we can be flexible around date, depending upon other bookings. We also take enquiries about weekend stays and the property is available for longer term winter rental at reduced rates.

We provide a beach ice box/hamper plus sun umbrella and chairs for the beach and we also have beach toys for kids. We have books and DVDs for all ages, plus board games, toys, snorkel masks, beach towels, buckets and spades, fishing nets and lots else. |

Bed linen and towels are included - and for stays of longer than 7 days we provide a mid stay clean and linen change. Our agents are on hand to provide any support you may need during your stay. We provide a welcome pack on arrival of basic essentials. |
Notes on accommodation
There is a private large terrace adjoining the master bedroom, affording views over the golf course and the swimming pool. Downstairs there is extensive garden terracing with sunloungers and chairs, a breakfasting table, a separate large evening dining area and BBQ area. The garden is completely enclosed and the house has a child/security lock so that once the front door is shut, young children cannot wander off.

Outside
There are three small swimming pools on this small development, so there is always an opportunity for a quiet swim. The beach is also safe for swimming, and is fully life-guarded in the summer.
Coast/Beach
Camp de Mar is a small resort which remains relatively undeveloped compared to most other resorts in Mallorca. The beach at Camp de Mar is a 5 minute walk from our villa, and features golden sand and sparklingly clear, emerald green waters, excellent for swimming and snorkeling. During high season, there are life guards on duty. One of the key attractions is the cafe situated on a small island just offshore from the beach which is reachable via a wooden jetty. This is a fantastic location.
Golf
The Andratx Championship course surrounds the property. This is one of the finest golf courses in Mallorca, with challenging holes and fantastic views over the Mediterranean. The clubhouse also has an excellent restaurant. There is a top class spa facility for non-golfers to enjoy a variety of treatments. There is a full size driving range, and superb practice chipping, bunker and putting areas. Golf lessons can be arranged through the club professional. Guests can pay and play on the course. Although it is stated that handicap requirements are applicable, these are rarely enforced, especially for golfers with their own clubs and shoes. There are several other courses on the island, many within a short drive of the house and all of which are beautifully set in the local surroundings.
Special interest holidays
Once you venture away from the main coastal developments, you will get a sense of the rural tranquility of this beautiful island, steeped in history. There are many beautiful villages and lots of well signposted walks. On the west coast the Traumuntana mountains dominate the skyline and provide many beautiful vantage points over the island.
Travel
You can hire a car, or choose to use taxis and buses during your stay. Taxis are cheap, plentiful, reliable, often English-speaking, and charge fixed prices using the meter. They will come to the house or you can walk round to the rank (about 3 minutes). Example costs; airport to villa is 40 euros. Puerto Andratx (Andratx port) to villa is 8 to 10 euros. There is a very reliable hourly air-conditioned bus service which runs along the coast between Palma and Andratx.
Distances
The beach at Camp de Mar is only a 5 minute walk away and there is a good children’s playground there too. There are 8 local restaurants within 5 minutes walk of the villa. There are many more eateries at Puerto Andratx which is a 10 min drive away. There are 2 spa shops within a 5 min walk of the villa and there are 3 local mid-sized supermarkets with bakeries within a 5 minute drive/cab ride. The nearest hypermarket is 20 minutes away. The capital, Palma is also approx 20 mins drive.
Further details
Once you venture away from the main coastal developments, you will get a sense of the rural tranquility of this beautiful island, steeped in history. There are many beautiful villages and lots of well signposted walks. On the west coast the Traumuntana Mountains dominate the skyline and provide many beautiful vantage points over the island. It is possible to rent boats in Puerto Andratx or to take excursions by boat to the other ports along the coast, or for fishing or scuba diving trips.
Booking notes
On booking we ask you to pay a 20% deposit towards the final balance. The final payment is due 8 weeks before departure. If you need to cancel after this date we refund a proportion of the original booking costs depending upon the amount of notice given. We ask for a £500 security deposit which is returned at the end of your stay after the check out is completed by our local agents.
