This centrally located, private detached villa is an ideal location for the perfect holiday. In an enviable residential location, the air-conditioned villa is just a 1 minute walk from the blue flag beach of Cala Gran and the many facilities of the town centre. It has a fully fitted kitchen and an open plan living and dining area downstairs. Upstairs, there is a double bedroom with balcony, a twin room and a modern bathroom. There is also a large roof terrace complete with chairs and sun loungers. A car parking space is provided, although a car is not required unless exploration further afield is desired. Child friendly.

Changeover day
Saturday is our preferred changeover day, however, other days will always be considered in off-peak periods.

Accommodation
Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 features a double bed, large wardrobes, air conditioning, French windows to balcony.
Bedroom 2 features twin beds, floor-standing oscillating room fan and a French balcony.
Bathrooms: The fully tiled bathroom includes a bath and powerful shower. Children's step-stool. Hairdryer provided.
Kitchen: The fully fitted kitchen is equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, extractor hood, fridge, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, iron and ironing board and a clothes airer. Children’s cups, plates and cutlery are also provided.
Living Rooms: The spacious open plan living area is air conditioned and equipped with a corner sofa, dining table and chairs, CD player/radio, ceiling fan and for the cooler seasons, a delightful wood burning stove.
Other: Large, safe, sunny roof terrace complete with sunbeds, sun umbrella, chairs and table. Lockable door and child friendly elbow-height wall.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Maid service is every 7 days. All linen and towels, excluding beach towels are included. Hairdryer provided.

Notes on accommodation
Hot and cold air-conditioning. Portable oil filled electric radiators. Private off-road car parking space directly outside the villa. Children's safety gate, cups, plates, and cutlery provided. The villa can sleep 4 adults plus a baby as the main double bedroom has ample cot space. Cot hire available at £10 per week (or £15 including linen), highchair hire £10 per week and stroller hire £5 per week.

Outside
Secure enclosed garden and roof terrace. For alfresco dining, the private garden is complete with both a large patio table and chairs and a small bistro table. The sunny roof terrace is complete with sunbeds, chairs and table. With child safety in mind, the roof terrace has a lockable door and a child-friendly height wall. The garden area is completely enclosed with secure gates. No pool means no worries about your little ones.

Coast/Beach
There are 7 sandy beaches within the vicinity of Cala D'Or. Cala Gran, with its blue flag award is the main beach and is just a 1 minute walk from the villa. The quieter Cala d'or beach can be reached on foot in approx 4 mins.

Golf
For golf enthusiasts, there are 2 golf courses nearby. Val d'Or golf course is a 15 minute drive from the villa. This 18 hole course has excellent fairways and greens and has some stunning sea views, especially on the first 9 holes. The club house is very well equipped with a large bar / restaurant area and a lovely big sun terrace overlooking the course and the sea behind which is perfect for a relaxing drink after your round. Club hire, trolley hire and buggy hire can be organised at reception. There is a shop, a driving range and a putting green. The course is open 12 months of the year, although booking your round in advance is advisable especially during the busier months.(www.valldorgolf.com). The Golf and spa resort 'Club Son Antem' is around a 25 minute drive (www.club-son-antem.com).

Special interest holidays
Mallorca as an island is excellent for golf, cycling and walking. The villa is well positioned for people looking to do any of these activities.

Travel
The villa is about a 45 min drive from Palma airport. There is an efficient taxi rank at the airport, or we can provide you with the name of a company with whom you can arrange an airport transfer by coach. Alternatively, a regular bus service operates to Palma, where you can then take a bus to Cala D'Or. A car is not required as the villa is located in the centre of Cala D'Or, however you may want to hire a car if you wish to explore the island.

Distances
The villa is situated in a private cul-de-sac in the centre of Cala D'Or. The nearest restaurant is 50 metres away, the pedestrianised centre is around 200 metres away. The sophisticated marina area, with its chic restaurants, is less than a 10 mins stroll away, and is a gorgeous setting for a relaxing meal or a stroll around the boats. There is a newsagent about 50m away, and the nearest supermarket is around 100m away. The larger, main supermarket is a 10 min walk away.

Further details
Cala D'Or is a beautiful part of Mallorca with a bustling cosmopolitan centre. Choose from fine cuisine, safe swimming, snorkelling, sailing, boat trips, golf, tennis, horse-riding, fishing, cycling, walking, or just relax and soak up the sun. Its pedestrianised town centre and gently sloping sheltered beaches make it particularly suitable for children.

Booking notes
Children very welcome. Sorry, no pets allowed.
A £100 non-refundable deposit is required for all bookings. Balance of payment is due 8 weeks prior to the date of travel.
A refundable security deposit of £200 is due 8 weeks prior to the date of travel, and will be refunded within 3 weeks of your return, very often sooner.
