The house has a 2 double bedrooms (one of which can be arranged as two singles), a large bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and a comfortable sitting area with a wood burning stove for winter visitors. Outside there is a large terrace with a wood burning oven and large BBQ. The house also has its own private swimming pool and orchard with a covered patio. Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. Discounts are available for rentals of more than two weeks.
Changeover day
Saturday is the changeover day and you will be met at the house. Check in is no earlier than 3pm and check out no later than 11am. Later check ins can be arranged for an additional charge.

| Bedrooms: |
The front bedroom has a double bed. The rear bedroom has a bed that can be divided to form two singles. Beds are prepared prior to your arrival and have plenty of storage space and all bedding is provided. |
| Bathrooms: |
The bathroom has a bath with an overhead shower, hand basin, toilet, bidet, large mirror with built-in marble shelves and shaving point. |
| Kitchen: |
The kitchen is fully equipped and has a double sink, a gas hob and oven with a built in grill. There is also a large fridge/freezer. A 'welcome pack' of basic food is provided - please let us know if you are vegetarian. |
| Utility Room: |
There is a front loading washing machine located in the utility workshop. An iron and ironing board are also provided. |
| Living Rooms: |
The sitting area has a large wood-burning stove in a traditional fireplace, comfortable seating and plenty of storage space. The sofa can be converted into a bed for additional visitors. There are board games for our winter guests and a portable CD/radio. |

Large covered terrace runs across the house and provides shade throughout the day. At one end of the terrace is a traditional Mallorcan wood burning oven and a large built-in BBQ. Plenty of space for dining on the terrace. |

Towels and linen are included and are changed weekly. Guests are met on arrival. |
Notes on accommodation
The south facing house is built in the traditional style and stays at a comfortable temperature throughout the year. It has tiled floors throughout and wooden shutters on all windows.

Outside
The private pool (approx 5x3m) has steps leading up to a tiled seating area for sun loungers. The pool is a constant depth of 1.5 metres (4'9") and has built-in metal steps and an automatic filtering system. To the side of the pool are the gates leading to the orchard containing olive, almond, walnut, orange, mandarin, lemon and grapefruit trees and vines. You are welcome to pick any ripe fruit. In the orchard, next to a shallow pond, there is a covered patio with outdoor lighting and seats and sunbeds for relaxing. There is also ample parking.
Coast/Beach
The beaches in the North (eg Port d'Pollensa and Port d'Alcudia) are about 20 mins drive - or you could take the slower but prettier lanes.
Travel
Palma airport is 30 mins drive away. Use of a car is essential in this quiet country area.
Distances
Sa Tanqueta is less than 5km from Inca which offers convenient road access to all points on the island and an hourly train service to Palma. The beautiful mountain region begins just behind the house with easy access to Moscari, Selva, Luch Monastery and Campanet Caves.
Further details
Inca, famous for its traditional restaurants and the centre for leather goods, is less than 5km (3 miles) away. Inca also has several supermarkets, excellent markets and a good range of cafes and shops - as well as all the services you might need.
Booking notes
A 25% non-returnable deposit is required to confirm a booking. The balance is payable no later than 1 month prior to the start of your holiday. Price reductions are available for long term rentals.
