Changeover day
Changeover dates are flexible particularly in off season periods. We try to accommodate all arrival and departure times. weekly or mid week cleaning is available at a small cost payable directly in Majorca.

Bedroom 2 with twin beds, balcony to front, room fan, remote control air-conditioning/heating.

Bathrooms: En-suite bathroom to master bedroom has 2 wash basins, a separate jacuzzi and shower enclosure.
Separate WC and bidet room.
Kitchen: The kitchen is fully fitted with all modern appliances/utensils. A brand new touch control ceramic hob/Zannussi oven with overhead extractor. Fridge/freezer, 2 microwave ovens, dishwasher. Juice extractor, coffee percolator and plunger, toaster etc.
Utility Room: Washing machine,Electric dryer, storage cupboard for all cleaning utensils, steam iron and ironing board.
Living Rooms: The living room has 2 sofas, foot stool. Circular dining table with seating for up to 8 people. A 30" Sony TV with Sky channels, DVD, video, stereo music centre, hooked up to TV for cinematic sound.

linen/maid service:
Dorma/Sheridan bed linen and towels are supplied on arrival, (excluding beach towels). Mid-weekly maid service is available on request at a very nominal charge, if required.

 

Notes on accommodation
The apartment has remote control air conditioning/heating in all rooms, including the guest bedroom. Guest bedroom also has an overhead fan/light. Total air/con is an essential requirement during the height of the season. The living/dining area and master bedroom have large patio doors opening out onto a spacious balcony with dining for 6/8 and sofa seating for comfortable alfresco dining. Though this apartment is a 'penthouse' it has the advantage of extremely easy access as it is at street level, therefore, there is no lifts or flights of stairs to negotiate. Children welcome. Primarily the apartment is 'no smoking', however, should guests wish to smoke we ask if they could possibly restrict it to the balconies. The apartment includes interesting 'limited edition' artwork throughout adding to the 'penthouse' style living.

Accessibility
As mentioned: Although this apartment is a penthouse it has extremely easy accessibilty. There are no flights of stairs, dark stairwells or lifts to negotiate. All other apartments below have to be accessed via a staircase.

Outside
A spiral staircase leads to the penthouse sunbathing terrace, a Spanish style BBQ and the wonderful 'cool off' plunge pool. The extra 55sqm rooftop terrace has garden ample furniture, tables/umbrellas, 4 adjustable sun loungers. The 'front line' view from this vantage point is spectacular of The Royal Bendinat Golf Course and to the left the bay of Palma. There are 4 landscaped communal pools to choose from on the complex. Parking facilities are excellent outside the apartment. The complex is 24 hour security guarded with well maintained gardens

Coast/Beach
Only 5 mins drive to the quaint secluded beach of Illetas (please request photos) the wonderful 'chic' Puerto Portals with luxury yachts, boutiques and numerous 'fine dining' restaurants and cafes is mins away. Palma Nova is a mere 7 mins drive where you will find a fabulous beach and numerous bars etc.

Golf
The penthouse overlooks the 1st green and down towards the 2nd. For our rental clients and golf enthusiasts we have arranged a small discount on the green fees. Please enquire when booking. The Bendinat estate is beautifully situated 7km to the west of Palma in a sweeping, wooded valley. At its heart lies the royal Bendinat golf club, an attractive course with spectacular Mediterranean views. In 1995, under the direction of golf architect 'hawtree', the course was extended to 18 holes and upgraded; a network of buggy paths was also created. A new driving range has been added and further upgrades are planned. The club has excellent facilities and a friendly 'club house' with a lively social calendar. The club restaurant overlooks the 18th green and host’s art exhibitions and the summer season of 'concerts on the grass'. Not to mention the many celebrity 'charity' golf tournaments that takes place during the year.

Travel
Palma de Mallorca airport is 14 miles (15 mins). Motorway junction Bendinat / Illetas is 1 mile away. A car is recommended, to enjoy the many unique places of interest on the island.

Distances
Palma city is only 10 mins by car where you will find the beautiful Cathedral. An exciting city with many restaurants, cafes and marina. Fantastic boutiques and the famous El Corte Ingles store also, 'Porto p' shopping mall where there is everything you will need under one roof!

Further details
Just a few mins walk from the apartment is Bendinat Plaza. You will find a well stocked supermarket and newsagents. The fantastic De Benedetto Italian Restaurant. Also, the Colonial themed Lindner Hotel Wellness Center, where you can enjoy their facilities and have a spot of lunch or a coffee whilst overlooking the The Royal Bendinat Golf Course.New restaurants just opened late 2007 are Iglesias,(owned by Tony of Wellies fame) and Real De Vellon, the latter having great reviews from all our clients who dine there. Both are on the same side as the Eroski at the Bendinat roundabout.

Booking notes
Payment is only accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner/advertiser. A 30% (non refundable) deposit is due when making your booking. A booking is not completely confirmed until the deposit has been received. The full balance including the inventory deposit is required 8 weeks before departure (late bookings... Payment is required).
