The apartment comprises 2 terraces with ample space for outside dining on the patio table and chairs, with views of the beach. There is also a small patio area from the main twin bedroom. An ideal location for a family beach based holiday. There is also a regular shuttle beach train around Cala'n Porter and to and from the beach from outside the apartment.

Changeover day
Normally Friday to Friday, but we are very flexible and other days can be negotiated to fit in with all flight days and times. Clients normally leave by 10.00am and arrive after 3.00 pm or by prior arrangement.

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 with twin beds with fitted wardrobes and ceiling fan.
Bedroom 2 with twin beds with fitted wardrobe and ceiling fan.
Lounge with single sofa bed/Z Bed or cot (if required).
There is also a safe in the main twin bedroom.
Bathrooms: Separate bathroom with bath/shower, wc, washbasin, automatic washing machine.
Kitchen: Kitchen with fitted cupboards, electric hob, oven, microwave, fridge freezer, electric kettle, coffee maker, toaster and juicer. Sufficient crockery, cutlery, glassware and pots and pans. An American style Breakfast bar and stools.
Living Rooms: The lounge and dining area are comfortable with cottage style suite, dining table and chairs. Electrical equipment includes TV and DVD with a selection of DVD's, radio CD tape player (including a selection of CD's and tapes).
Other: Folding bed included in the apartment for 5th person occasional use.
Cleaning/towels/

All required linen including bath towel and hand towel per person is provided fresh for each arrival and a linen change will be provided on multi week lets after the first week.

Notes on accommodation
The apartment overlooks mature gardens, with excellent views to the bay and beach, an ideal place for an evenings gin and tonic. On a clear day you can see Monte Toro in the centre of the island.

Accessibility
The apartment is situated on the first floor with two flights of stairs with approximately 10 steps in each. Not suitable for wheelchair users. The apartment has its own key safe at the entrance giving extra security for keys. There is also a safe situated in the apartment.

Outside
Own terrace overlooking the bay of Cala'n Porter, with patio furniture making it ideal for an evening at home or breakfast on the terrace.

Coast/Beach
Cala'n Porter lovely sandy and gently shelving beach is a 10 minute walk away from the apartment. An ideal beach for children where sun loungers and parasols can be hired, also pedalos and slide boats.

Golf
Professional golf course at Son Parc approximately 20 minute drive away.

Travel
Mahon airport is located a 10 minutes drive or taxi ride away. It is not necessary to hire a car as there is a good bus service from Cala'n Porter. If you do wish to hire a car this can be arranged with a pick up and drop off at the airport, this will allow you to explore the beautiful island of Menorca.

Distances
Mahon is 7 miles away, Alaior 6 miles, San Clement 4 miles.

From Mahon bus station there are bus services to all areas of the island. The buses run at regular intervals and are clean, not expensive and some air conditioned.

Further details
Cala'n Porter town centre is just 10 minutes walk which gives you access to supermarkets, bars, restaurants, doctors, chemist and a variety of other shops and evening entertainment.

All the shops and facilities in Cala en Porter have English speaking staff which is ideal for the no Spanish speakers.

Booking notes
A £50 deposit is required on booking with the balance payable 6 weeks prior to travel. Bookings now being taken for the 2012 season at less than 2011 prices. Also available we have a 1 bedroom apartment (B1720) in the same block accommodating up to 3 people with the same facilities as the two bedroom apartment.
