The villa's location offers seclusion and privacy in a Mediterranean setting. There is a supermarket within walking distance of the villa.

Changeover day
The changeover day is Friday. Alternative days by special arrangement (low season only). Earliest arrival time is 3.30pm; latest departure time is 10.00am.

Kitchen: Kitchen, modern, fully tiled and fully fitted with polished granite worktops, AEG ceramic hob, oven & dishwasher plus microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster and coffee machine.

Notes on accommodation
The accommodation is tiled throughout and arranged on one floor.
The master bedroom and double bedroom both have full air conditioning, which also provides heating for the cooler months. For the winter months, there is full central heating.
A floor plan is available.
The villa has an annual investment programme.
The pool service technician attends twice a week in the season; once a week low season.
The gardener visits weekly.
Please: no smoking in the house.

Garden panoramic views across the valley, to the fortifications of La Mola, boats in Cala Teulera and round to the open sea. Comprehensive outside lighting. Steps up to south facing wooden sun deck with seating and table, providing 5km of outstanding harbour views. Supervision of children required when on this gated facility. Garden furniture, loungers, chairs, cushions, parasols, wooden bench, brick built BBQ. Outdoor clothes drying area.

Coast/Beach
Cala Llonga jetty is c300 metres walk away and there is a small supermarket nearby. The villa is less than 5 miles from the wide sands of Sa Mesquida - the local beach, situated in the 'Reserva de la Biosfera', offering wildlife and walks.

Golf
There is an 18 hole course at Son Parc, with extensive facilities and a good hire shop. Substantial road improvements make it easy to get to.

Travel
The villa is just 15 minutes drive (10km) from Menorca's airport - Mahon - but it is well away from the flight path. There are Easyjet, Iberia and Monarch services plus charter.
A hire car is required which you can easily arrange, with airport delivery and collection.

Further details
Facing south, Cala Llonga's hillside location overlooks Mahon's magnificent harbour. The villa can be reached easily on wide, well maintained roads which have excellent views of the harbour and surrounding rural landscape. Cala Llonga is a few miles and about 10 minutes drive from Mahon's centre. Cala Llonga has an active owners association whose substantial budget makes a visible difference to the neighbourhood, its infrastructure, ambience and upkeep. Mahon offers a large choice of waterfront restaurants, bars, cafés and shopping. Seafood is a speciality and there is a great variety. Enjoy walks, exploration and good shopping in the pedestrianised old town. The Museum, Cathedral, fortified walls and Georgian-style architecture are all impressive. The famous Gin distillery shows the British influence. There are many important pre-historic monuments on the island. Nearby, visit Es Castel, Fort Marlborough and Sant Lluis. Fornells on the north coast is a delightful fishing village; Monte Toro, the highest point of the Island offers superb views and an imposing monastery. Ciutadella, the former capital offers a wealth of old Spanish architecture, old town street layouts and lots to explore. It even has an orchestra. The towns of Alayor and Mercadal offer interesting contrasts.
With an enviable climate, the Balearic Islands have been an obvious Mediterranean destination for years. The outdoor life enables you to pursue diving, horse-riding, sailing, motor boating, motor-yachting, bird-watching, walking and cycling (inc guided tours). Menorca has many beaches and calas to enjoy. There is tennis and cricket at Sant Lluis.

Booking notes
An initial payment of 50% is required with each booking. A refundable security deposit of £200 (cheque held un-cashed)is also required on booking. The balance is due for payment not less than 8 weeks before the date of arrival at the villa. Cots can be made available at your request & cost.
