This is less that £20 per day for 10 persons.

Prices are for the property (including the apartment) per week in UK Pounds. For bookings without the 2/3 person apartment a reduction of between £150 and £200 can be offered depending on season.
The 2/3 person apartment can be let separately except for Jul/Aug, price depending upon season - £250/350 per week.

Kitchen: Recently refurbished kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer. Ceiling fan, large table and seating for 12. Plenty of cutlery, glasses etc. (Basically everything you will need!).
Living Rooms: Main lounge with TV/DVD/Video with satellite box for your card. Wood burning stove for the winter months, 2 settees and various chairs. Electric piano on request. Air conditioning.
Other: Tower room reached by rear steps, separate large room with vaulted ceiling and own terrace area. Lower apartment reached by front steps, separate bedroom, bathroom and lounge with sofa-bed, kitchenette with new cooker, fridge and microwave. Own terrace.

linen/maid service:
Bathroom towels and bed linen are included. If change of linen/towels are required mid stay for clients on two week periods, this can be arranged at cost with our English caretakers (Jenny and Derek) who live opposite.

Notes on accommodation
All accommodation is non-smoking. Look at the wonderful location on 'Google Earth' 39 44' 49.2 N 3 25' 47.5 E This shows the area around the villa and the great walks and scenery. Air-conditioning units fitted in all bedrooms.

Accessibility
Rear access drive for parking vehicles. The property is on a small road that stops 100 meters beyond i.e. there is no passing traffic.

Outside
Several patio areas. Outdoor tables and chairs. Loungers.
Brick built barbecue. Outside bar area with basin (hot/cold water) and Fridge. Private swimming pool with Paddling pool at one end. Garden with wooded areas. Table tennis table available.

Coast/Beach
5 minutes walk to Cala Mesquida Beach - Large, sandy and streches back to pine covered sand dunes. Many other beaches up and down the coast to explore. Lovely area. Excellent coastal walk. It is possible to walk from the villa along the coast for over 10 miles without coming accross buildings or roads. The walk from Cala Mesquida through the mountain pass via wooded areas to Cala Ratjada is well worth doing - takes around two hours at a leisurly pace and you can always get a bus back.

Golf
There are 4 good golf courses within 20 minutes drive.
Capdepera (18 hole). Sera de Pula (18 hole Competition Course), Son Severa (18 hole) and Costa Los Pinos (9 hole).

Travel
About an hour from Palma Airport. Very good road system. Recommend car hire.

Distances
10 mins drive to Historic old town of Capdepera with Castle, town square with cafes and tapas bars. 15 mins drive to Busy Harbour and tourist town of Cala Ratjada. Lots of good shopping, clubs and bars.

Further details
Butcher and supermarkets within walking distance of villa. Local shops, restaurants, bars and cash machine facility nearby. You can see the wonderful position and the surrounding countryside if you go to the 'Google Earth' and go to the latitude/longtitude 39 44' 49.2 N 3 25' 47.5 E. In spring 2010, further work was carried out to the property helping to make your stay even more memorable. The swimming pool has had under-water LED lights fitted which change colour. This makes 'an evening dip' with a difference! Automatic terrace lighting has also been fitted.

Owner profile


About the owner
We, the owners of C'an Pedro, had it built specifically as a family holiday home having spent many years on holiday in Cala Mesquida. We only let it when we, our children or grandchildren are not using it. Being our own holiday home, we are constantly upgrading the villa and adding additional features. It is ideal for all types of families and groups and caters for all ages from babies to grandparents.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We bought the land and had the villa specifically built for us. We loved the area and had holidayed there from the mid '60's. It has been constantly added to and kept up-to-date as our family grew. We now have two children, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The area is away from the concrete jungle with no through roads yet easily accessible to towns - Capdepera and Cala Ratjada. Several bars/restaurants are within walking distance as are amenities for children. There are wonderful walks through conifer woods and along the coast without buildings or people.
