Coast/Beach
A small sandy cove, is about 50 feet to the right of the house. You can swim off the rocks right in front of the terrace. Biniancolla is situated in the south eastern corner of Menorca between Punta Prima and Binibeca Vell. A land train runs all summer between these two resorts stopping at Biniancolla regularly.
Golf
Menorca has one golf course. About a 30 minute drive. 14 holes, with restaurant and near a beautiful beach on the northeast side of the island, north of Mahón, capital.
Special interest holidays
All water sports very near. Can walk to most of them. Water skiing, diving, paragliding, etc.
Travel
Car hire is essential to see the island although the house is within very close walking distance from three restaurants and a bit more from a large beach area with something for everyone. Airport 15 minutes away.
Distances
12 kms. from the airport. 6 from the nearest "town". 2 from the nearest beach town. 10 from the port of Mahón. Located on the southeast corner of the island, near some of the prettiest beaches.
Further details
Supermarkets, water sports, beach restaurants, hotels can all be reached if you feel like a stroll. A lovely promanade was finished last year very near the house to take you to a beach "resort", but far enough away to not bother you. The house is at a very quiet cove.
