Casa Hippo is an eccentric little boathouse, full of character, nestling in the heart of Cala San Esteban, a totally unspoilt waterside village in Menorca. Cala Esteban, where the majority of inhabitants are Menorquian, is a 10 minute drive from the very beautiful and lively port of Mahon. One can fish, swim, snorkel and sunbathe directly from the house and there are lovely walks around the surrounding cliffs. The nearest small town is Villa Carlos which offers all shopping facilities and lovely waterside cafes and restaurants.

£50 supplement on each lower bunk bed used. Long winter rentals available at discounted prices.

Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom. The lower part of the boathouse is very basic and houses 2 double bunk beds and one single bed ideal for teenagers.(Can sleep 5) Doors open on to sea. |
| Bathrooms: | There is a small WC upstairs and the main bathroom is at sea level outside. |
| Kitchen: | The kitchen is small but has all essentials and directly overlooks the sea. |
| Utility Room: | Washing machine and fridge in lower part of boathouse. |
| Living Rooms: | The living room which directly overlooks the sea has 2 sofas, a log fire and several small tables. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Linen and towels included. Cleaning on arrival and departure for up to four people. Laundry charge for each extra person is £15. |

Outside
The sitting room leads on to a delightful terrace which directly overlooks the sea and has table chairs and benches in what is an ideal entertainment area. Below at waters edge there is a large sunbathing jetty with bathroom ,loo and shower.
Coast/Beach
There are many beaches within 30 minutes drive.
Travel
Mahon airport is 15 minutes away. Car hire is recommended and Don Cars can have your car waiting for you on arrival at the airport.
Distances
Es Castell is a 10 min drive away. Mahon is 15 mins away.
Booking notes
20% non returnable deposit is required on confirmation of booking. Balance to be paid 8 weeks before arrival.
