Very spacious finca style house recently built in 15,500 sq meters of farmland originally used for growing almond and fig trees, many of which still populate the land. The house is in a very rural location reached by old style vehicle tracks leading from the Algaida to Santa Eugenia road or from the newly built Palma to Manacor road. Attractive high ceilings add to the feeling of spaciousness and the well insulated walls and ceilings help keep the house cool in summer and cosy in winter. There is a large covered terrace, ideal for the long summer evenings, which looks towards the terraced 10 x 5 meter pool. Ideal for a large family or 4 couples. Beds in the 4 bedrooms can be made up as large doubles or single beds. The double sofa bed in the principle bedroom enables the house to accommodate up to 10 people. A car is essential.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK £ based on Sat turn around, or see calendar. *Weeks commencing 23/02/08 and 22/03/08 - £100 supplement. **Weeks commencing 20/12/08 and 27/12/08 - £300 supplement. Friday turnarounds in April, May, June and October will be considered without extra charge. Optional heating supplement - £70 per week. Optional air-conditioning Supplement - £70 per week. Deposit of £250 per week required at time of booking. Prices for long term rentals on request.

Changeover day
Changeover day is normally Saturday however, there is some flexibility to this and prices will be adjusted accordingly and notified at time of booking.

Living Rooms: Spacious combined lounge and dining room with wood burner, satellite TV (SKY, BBC, ITV & C4), DVD player with surround-sound. Dining table, extendable to comfortably seat 10. Doors out to large covered terrace and doors to hall and downstairs bathroom.
Other: Large covered terrace with table and chairs. Large front open terrace with patio furniture.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Property is cleaned before guests arrive. A set of bathroom towels and a pool towel is provided for each guest. For rentals of more than 1 week, clean sheets & towels are provided after each week. Guests may use the washing machine.

Notes on accommodation
Air conditioning or warm air heating is available in all rooms at a supplement and requirements should be specified at time of booking or before final balance is paid.

Outside
House stands in 15,500 sq meters of farmland originally given over to the growing of almonds and figs. The land is mainly left un landscaped. The private fresh water swimming pool measures 10x5m and it has a standard depth of 1.4m. The pool is surrounded by terrace and sunbeds are provided. There is also a poolside shower. The terraces around the house all have wooden garden furniture.

Coast/Beach
The closest beaches are at Playa de Palma and C'an Pastilla. These are approximately 15-20 mins drive from the house. These are also the closest resorts and the beach is just about the best on the island backed by a very long promenade lined with shops, bars and restaurants. The magnificent, popular but undeveloped beach at Es Trenc is approximately 40 mins drive.

Golf
The new Son Gual golf course is due to open in October 2007 and is expected to be known as the best course on the Island. Son Gual is approx 10 mins by car from the house. Course information: 18 holes, Par 72, 6621 m, CR 75,7 Slope 138, Design: Thomas Himmel.
There are 2 golf courses at Son Antem near Lluchmajor, approx 20 mins by car. All golf courses on the island are within easy reach.

Travel
Palma Airport is approximately 20 mins drive by car. Car hire is essential. We can give advice on car hire companies.

Distances
Algaida is approximately 5 mins drive from the house. Palma City is approx 20 mins by car. Hypermarkets of Al Campo and Carrefour are approx 20 mins drive by car.

Further details
Restaurants in Algaida include typical Mallorquine and Italian Pizza and Pasta (takeway pizza also available). Algaida has a small market every Friday and shops include, 3 supermarkets, bakery, butchers, pharmacy and several banks. There is an Aquapark close to Arenal approximately 20 mins by car.

Booking notes
To book or for further information please email. Deposit required to confirm booking is £250 for each week. Balance to be paid 6 weeks before arrival along with a £300 inventory deposit which is refunded within 2 weeks of the end of the rental period.
