Sa Coloma a delightful country retreat. Here you will receive a warm welcome from the owner Julie and two daughters Elisha and Millie who live in the adjacent property. Situated in the heart of Mallorca, 1km from the quaint village of Costitx, 7km from Inca and 4km from Sineu. This is an ideal location for exploring the many delights of Mallorca, whilst being only 25 mins from Palma and the fantastic beaches of the north. Sa Coloma boasts outstanding views to the dramatic Traumantana Mountains and the most spectacular sunsets can be viewed from any of the many terraces surrounding the house. Costitx is home of the only observatory on the island, built here because the area is said to have the purest air and clearest skies in Mallorca. In the village you have all the amenities, shops and bars where you can mix with the locals. The area is perfect for walking, cycling and touring as every point of the island can be reached in under 50 mins driving.

Bedrooms: The main bedroom has a double bed and air conditioning.
Bedroom 2 has two single beds.
Bathrooms: One family bathroom with bath and shower.
Kitchen: The kitchen/breakfast room is well equipped with oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, toaster and kettle.
Utility Room: Outside is a washing machine shared with the owners.
Living Rooms: Inside the light and airy lounge there is plenty of seating. It is equipped with a satellite TV, video, DVD player and music system. There is a traditonal wood burning stove. The high ceilings make this a cool room even in the hottest months.
Cleaning/towels/

The house is cleaned once a week, but additional cleaning can be arranged.

 

Notes on accommodation
The accommodation is split into two houses, one for your sole use and the other which is lived in by my self and two daughters, though you privacy is ensured, I am here for any of your needs. Outside the house part of your terrace is closed in which is ideal if you have small children that need to be kept away from the pool. The pool is for your own personal use.

Outside
Sa Coloma is the perfect place, if you want to explore or just relax. The villa boasts a large 10x5m mosaic tiled swimming pool with extensive terraced area, surrounded by exotic fauna. There are plenty of sunbeds and shades for all. For BBQ lovers this is the perfect retreat for there is a outside BBQ, a gas BBQ or for the more adventurous a typical Mallorquian clay oven where with a little patience provides the most succulent roast imaginable. There is lots of terrace furniture for alfresco dining under the stars.

Coast/Beach
The fantasic beaches of Pollensa and Alcudia can be reached in 20 mins.

Golf
Sa Coloma is only 25 mins away from many of Mallorca's golf courses. There is a newly opened golf range 10 mins away in Binissalem.

Travel
Palma airport is 30 minutes away. Car hire is essential.

Distances
Neighboring Sineu has a vast array of restaurants(over 20), also a bustling Wednesday market. Nearby Inca is the leather capital of Mallorca, where you can find many a bargain pair of shoes or handbag. Here you can find the largest market on the island, hypermarkets and Cellar restaurants. 20 mins away is festival park, with cinema complex, factory outlets and many more restaurants. There are many bodegas in our local villages, where you can taste and purchase Mallorca's fine wines.

Further details
The village of Costitx is 1km away. You will find here shops, banks, bakers, bars, etc.
