Villa Baixamar is a beautiful, waterfront villa in a charming unspoilt fishing village, Es Grau which is approximately 10 minutes drive from Mahon. It has 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms as well as a large sitting/dining room. The villa has spectacular views over the horseshoe bay with its sandy beaches and coves. Beyond the bay lies the Isla D'en Colom, which has 2 fabulous secluded beaches and is a short boat ride away. Es Grau is ideal for families with small children as the main beach, only 5 minutes walk away, has a very gentle slope making it extremely safe. A short walk around the bay and beyond the headland offers the choice of a number of different smaller beaches.
The Albufera National Park and bird sanctuary lie just behind the main beach and provides lovely walks. It is an ideal place for nature and bird watching. For further information please see our website (weblink at the foot of this page).

Kitchen: Fully fitted modern kitchen with oven and hob, fridge freezer, washing maching and dishwasher.
Utility Room: The kitchen is well stocked with general kitchen equipment as well as a toaster, kettle, iron and ironing board.
Living Rooms: Large living/dining room with wonderful views over the bay. Large dining table which seats 6-8, sofa, sideboard and mirror, 2 easy chairs. Living room leads onto the balcony.
Other: Large balcony with lovely view and outside table and chairs - an ideal place to watch the sunset.
Very large flat roof terrace with 2 sun loungers and folding chairs. Ideal for sunbathing, drinks and tapas.
Entrance hall with full coat rack and storage.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
All linen is provided and is cleaned midway through your holiday if you are here for more than a week. Cleaning services during your stay can be arranged on request.

Coast/Beach
Es Grau has a beautiful sandy beach which is ideal for small children as it shelves very gently. It also has a number of other small coved beaches within walking distance of the main beach. The Isla D'en Colom which has two stunning beaches lies just of the bay of Es Grau and is a short boat ride away.

Travel
The nearest airport is Mahon and is a 10 minute drive away.

Distances
Mahon is about a 10 mintue drive away. But with a car, all areas of the island are accessible and are well worth exploring.

Further details
Car hire is recommended but not essential as there is a small supermarket in the village as well as three bars all of which serve tapas and a restaurant. There are payphones in the village but if you think you will need regular phone communication, it is recommended that you bring a mobile phone.
