Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday, although bookings may allow for flexibility especially out of high season. The property is available for occupation from 3pm and we ask you to vacate by 10am. Some flexibility may be acceptable dependant on other bookings.

Notes on accommodation
There is a large hallway area plus a small storage cupboard for buckets and spades and lilo etc. Each room has an oil filled electric radiator. The lounge area has an open fireplace. A DVD is installed that also plays CDs. Plenty of storage cupboards. Clients are free to use, buckets and spades, goggles and snorkles, fishing rods, dominoes and cards etc stored in cupboards. There is a large selection of DVDs avaialble to suit all ages.
Property is in a block of 12 apartment, two to each floor. A lift services all the apartments. The outside entry to the block is accessed via a locked door (you will have a key) but an intercom is linked direct to the apartment which allows access at the push of a button.
There are a selection of buckets and spades for clients use. Also some small telescopic fishing rods for those who wish to fish off the jetty. Small safe in main bedroom
Outside
The terrace has views to the sea and Cala Millor to the right with Cala Bona to the left. Table and 6 chairs where one can enjoy breakfast in the morning or a leisurely glass of wine in the evening, watching the world go by on the promenade below. Access is available to the roof for sunbathing if required. It has all day sun is sheltered and gets very hot.
Coast/Beach
Beach is seconds from the doorstep across the promenade to the right and extends for 3km so you can walk or build as many sand castles as you desire. Soft sandy beach (no stones). Gently shelving sands make it perfect for children to paddle. You can fish off the jetty and some small rods are available in the apartment. This is good fun and you can catch lots of small fish just float fishing at 2 metres.
Golf
There are 4 golf courses within 10 - 20 mins drive. Three x 18 hole (Golf de Pula, Capdepera golf and Golf Canyamel), and one x 9 hole (Golf Son Servera).
Travel
Airport is 50 mins away with very easy car hire pick-up arrangements. We will supply directions prior to your arrival. Taxi is approx 60 euros. A Taxi rank is just 50m from the apartment. Street parking is available all around and it is normally easy to find space. We can arrange airport pick ups with an English resident in the same apartment block.
Distances
San Servera is just 5kms and holds a weekly market. Opposite the apartment is the boat jetty where boat trips can be taken to other resorts up and down the coast. Special trips are taken to other resorts on their market days. It takes just 20 seconds to walk from the apartment across the promenade to the jetty.
Further details
A bank and ATM are located within the apartment block. All you require is within a 2 minute walk of the apartment. Bikes are available just 20m away for those who like to cycle. The area is very flat and easy to get around. Restaurants, bars, cafes, bike hire, banks, supermarket and bread shop are all within a 70m walk.
Booking notes
20% non refundable deposit secures the booking. Balance is due 6 weeks prior to arrival by bank transfer or cheque. Payment can be made in euros if required. Please enquire, however, about differing circumstances, last minute bookings etc.

About the owner
My Wife and I are in our mid sixties now. I work as an export manager travelling the world, so I was keen on having holidays where I could take it easy and life was on the quiet side. We looked all over Europe for a place to buy. Cyprus, Turkey, various Spanish mainland sites and finally settled on Majorca, a place we had been many times. When we saw the view from this apartment we were sold on it straight away. Its just fantastic to sit on the balcony and watch the world go by. We bought six years ago and have never regretted it for one moment. My wife ran a childminding business from home so she too was used to chaos so this was the complete antidote. We have three grown up children and two (another on the way) grandchildren. I enjoy gardening and decorating.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We bought this property as the location is just fantastic right on the front overlooking the sea, so the veiw is superb. As its on the forth floor it is quiet but you can easily watch all the activity below, the boats coming and going and everyone passing by. The location away from all the hotels also means on an evening its very quiet and as you lay in bed all you hear is the sea lapping the shore outside. We get the sun in the morning until midday, later depending on the time of year. This means the hot midday sun doesnt heat the apartment so it tends to stay cool for the evening. The apartment is also spacious with lots of room and goes right from front to rear of the block that means you can open windows and obtain a great through cooling breeze if you want it.
Unique benefits of the property
The location is central between Cala Millor and Cala Bona near the Talayot Hotel and the Jetty. We have bars, restaurants, cafe, bike hire, banks taxi rank. car hire, Info kiosk, shops and a great local fruit and veg shop all within 75 yards. As well as the beach of course thats about a 1 minute walk across the prom. The front has just a feeder road for access so you have no constant traffic passing. To Cala Bona its a nice 15 minute walk to that harbour where you will pass around four or five hotels that all have great evening entertainment that you can take advantage of if you just buy a drink.
