The resort is a 40 minute drive from Mahon airport.
Car hire is recommended, and is available from rental companies on the complex.

Further details
The resort of Playas de Fornells lies 2 miles from Fornells town, overlooking the quiet beach resort of Cala Tirant. Its villas reflect the local architectural style, set in tastefully maintained flower and cactus gardens. It has its own small beach, and a footpath leads round to the larger beach at Cala Tirant, where you can hire sunloungers, parasols, windsurfers and pedaloes.
All amenities are covered on-site. 2 Supermarkets, a car and bicycle-hire shop, friendly bars and a some excellent sea-view restaurants are all within a short walking distance. The resort is about 3km from the harbour of Fornells, a small and very smart looking fishing village situated at the head of an enormous bay.

We live in Mumbles, South Wales. We have 2 sons and 2 grandsons.
We have owned our property in Playas de Fornells since 1986 and now that we are retired like to visit Menorca as often as possible.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We bought a property in Menorca because we love the island and also love the fact that it is only a two hour flight from the UK.
