Living Rooms: Large bright and airy lounge/dining room, TV, radio and CD player.There is a bookcase with books on walks and birdwatching on the island as well as a selection of paperbacks.
Other: Private pool-side room with sun-beds etc.Plenty of room here for changing and storage of wind surfing and snorkelling equipment.

Coast/Beach
The apartment is situated on the beautiful waterfront of Mahon Harbour. There are a host of beaches within half an hour's drive, the nearest sandy beach being just 10 minutes by car. Along the coast, 20 minutes away at Fornells, is the Menorca sailing school which has a fine reputation and offers a full range of courses and tuition. The islands beaches are numerous, most have fine golden sands but others have an interesting rocky shore with coves and rock pools.

Golf Course at Son Parc is just 20 minutes drive away.
18 Hole course with fine clubhouse and other sports facilities.

Travel
Mahon Airport is 15 minutes by car. Car hire is recommended to travel around the island - but it is not essential.
Menorca is the easternmost of the Balearic Islands. It seduces all who get to know it with it's wide spectrum of history, cultural and sports activities and a rich gastronomical tradition.
There are no long distances, the island is just 30 miles long and 9 miles wide, and the diversity of it's tourist resources make it an ideal place for leasure and relaxation.

Distances
Harbour shops & boutiques are along the promenade outside the apartment. Mahon town centre is 15 minutes walk (bus service also available). The town has comprehensive shopping facilities, Banks, Opticians,Dentists and Medical Clinics. There is also a modern Hospital. There is an open-air market twice per week and there are several Internet Cafes if needed.
Shopping in the old covered cloisters of the cathedral for fresh produce,local meat, cheese, poultry, bread & pastries is fascinating.

Further details
Overlooking the harbour are a host of restaurants, cafes and patisseries. Supermarkets are a short drive away and groceries and fresh fish are sold along the port.
