Accessibility
The property is all on one level apart from the steps up to the roof terrace and the mezzanine space in the twin bedroom.
There are two steps or a ramp down from the street level and then one (and a half) steps up into the house. There is one step from the back (kitchen) door to the terrace and two steps down from the terrace to the garden and pool.
The villa is about half a mile from the centre.

Ample terrace with table and 6 chairs, swing sofa, barbecue, retractable awning. 32 square metre, 9 metre long private pool in garden with lawn surrounded by flowers, trees and high walls. Sun loungers. Roof terrace with extensive sea views, chairs and sun loungers.
Coast/Beach
Beautiful and safe beach in the cove 3 mins drive, 15 minute walk down. 2 mins walk to cliff top, with great views and countryside walks.
Golf
Son Parc golf course is a half hour drive away.
Special interest holidays
Owner is an island guide running his own jeep safari business and can provide private tours or can include you in safaris at a discount rate. These safaris are run at a leisurely and safe pace and are a great way to get to see the island and can be tailor-made to meet your interests.
Travel
Mahon airport at 13km, about 10 mins drive.
Car hire not essential, but the owner can provide a car-hire vehicle with up to 8 seats at unbeatable prices.
Distances
The island's capital, Mahon with its beautiful port and open markets is 15 minutes away by bus or car
Historic and idylliic cave-lined coves of Calas Covas in walking distance.
Nowhere is more than about an hours drive away.

Supermarkets, restaurants and bars with live entertainment and cashpoints all 10 minutes stroll.

The Caves of Xoroi are just 5 mins walk away, yet are completely out of ear-shot.
Menorca is a biosphere reserve and is the most unspoilt of the Spanish coastal destinations. It has beautiful beaches, coastline and countryside. It's a tranquil island, ideal for family holidays and for the 30's up.
The centre of former capital Ciutadella is a national monument and is full of palaces, churches and the island's cathedral.
The fishing village of Fornells is the best place to eat fish, the famous lobster stew and also to practice water sports, such as windsurfing and sailing.
The festivals of the island, in which the beautiful Menorcan breed of horse is the star of the show are famous throughout Spain and are celebrated throughout the summer in each town.
There are a couple of good water parks, a golf course, horse riding, horse shows, boat trips and more. It's one of the 3 best places in Spain for diving.

About the owner
Originally from London, I've travelled around quite a bit. I came out to Menorca to look after my elderly parents who had moved out to the island when they retired. When they passed on I decided to stay on in this beautiful island, keeping not only my parents' villa but also the Spanish nurse who used to help me look after them!
We're now married and have a 10 year old son. We completely transformed the house to turn it into our dream home and have now decided to share it with others such as yourselves.
I've worked as a guide on the island for many years and now concentrate on offering jeep safaris. Unlike some jeep safaris these are taken at a leisurely pace, the idea being to see this wonderful island, not just to hang on for dear life! Join me one day whilst here!
