Two adjoining, but self-contained, flats in an apartment block fronting the Avenida Miramar. Located in the centre of the main resort on the island, just a hundred yards or so up from the beach (limited side sea view from the balconies) and within close proximity of the shops, bars and restaurants. Both flats in excellent order, one having been recently re-furbished and the other already modernised. Fully equipped with more than would normally be expected, including use of parasols and other beach equipment, CD player (no TV), library of books and some games.

Changeover day
Flexible, but as far as possible to tie in with preceding and subsequent bookings. There are no specific check-in or check-out times, but 'overlaps' are not welcome. We will ask you for flight details.

14 Copocabana Apartments
Corridor entrance hall leads into a combined Living Room with kitchen corner. Glass topped dining table with 4 chairs. Long bed-settee that converts into extra sleeping for 2 people.
Double patio doors to good balcony with table and chairs.
Kitchen fully equipped including oven and hob and loads of cupboard space containing wide range of utensils, electric kettle, coffee maker and toaster.
Bedroom has two single beds and a good sized wardrobe.
Fully tiled bathroom with conventional bath having a shower over, wash hand basin and toilet.
Recently refurbished including completely new tiled floor, new kitchen area and new bathroom.

13 Copocabana Apartments
Immediately adjoins flat 14, but there is no internal connection. Nevertheless ideal for occupancy in tandem with Flat 14 by a larger family or a group of friends.
Corridor entrance hall leads down to a living area with well fitted kitchen that has a gas hob but no oven (a microwave oven, with inside grill is provided). Lots of cupboard space, well equipped with utensils, electric kettle, toaster and coffee maker.
Living area has a settee and two easy chairs and there are sliding patio doors to the balcony where there is a table and chairs.
Bedroom has two single beds and a good sized wardrobe.
Bathroom has a shower cubicle (no bath), wash basin and toilet.

Notes on accommodation
Flat 14 is an end unit in the block and thus has windows down the side, along with the patio doors to the balcony. This makes it very light and airy and being on the 'sea-side' of the building, benefits from sea breezes through the windows. Flat 13 is an internal unit that has a shuttered window to the bedroom onto the access passageway, along with the patio doors at the front. Neither flat has air-conditioning, but both living rooms and both bedrooms have ceiling fans. There is no heating as neither flat is in use during the winter months. Both bedrooms are at the rear of the flats, away from street 'noise' at the front of the building. The Block does NOT have a lift, swimming pool or Reception Desk. Access to the flats is by means of external stairways and landings. The flats are on the second floor of the building. Flat 14 is perfectly suitable for children, but not Flat 13 as that only sleeps two people.

Outside
Both flats have external balconies.

Coast/Beach
Formentera contains some of the best beaches in the world, with many of the best beaches on the island having gently shelving sands into crystal clear waters. Some beaches shelve into water that is very shallow for some distance out, making them extremely safe for young children. The island is very small, being only about 10-11 miles long and not much more than a mile wide at the narrowest point in the middle, so getting around is easy, many of the beaches can be reached in a matter of minutes.

Travel
Access to Formentera is via Ibiza Airport (the island has no airport of it's own) then Ferry transfer from the Port in Ibiza Town. Ferry crossings are by modern catamarans and take about 30 minutes. There are regular daily sailings. On Formentera itself, most visitors hire bicycles as distances are so short and the island is, in the main (at least in respect of beach access) fairly flat. A few days car hire would be useful for getting to the island's extremities and some of the good restaurants.

Distances
The flats are in the centre of the island's main resort. The Capital of the island (San Francisco) lies about 2 miles away. The Port of La Sabina about the same distance. Es Pujols is so small that it can be walked across in less than 5 minutes (not stopping at a bar en route!)

Further details
Formentera is primarily a beach based holiday. You can go out in absolute safety and the kids can play happily without you having to look over your shoulder all the time. There are no Timeshare touts pestering the living daylights out of you, neither is there anyone trying to sell you watches or wood carvings. The island suits those who do NOT want to be organised. There is not much to keep teenagers entertained, but otherwise there are good bars and restaurants. Many of the beaches are nudist and you must be prepared for this. Frankly, nobody cares very much, it's all part of the laid back lifestyle. All the usual day to day facilities are available in Es Pujols, with Banks in San Francisco. There is a Supermarket and the Resort's Butchers on the ground floor of our building.

20% deposit once dates are agreed with the balance payable no later than 6 weeks before departure. If you cancel after this point, the full amount remains due, so please ensure you have appropriate travel insurance. If you have not been to the island before, we will send you our Introductory Details, which can also be sent to you prior to booking if you so wish. If you are UK based, keys will likely be sent to you by us, otherwise access to the flat will be through our island representatives.
