My family and I first visited Residencia La Dorada complex six years ago. When we first arrived we were so pleased with the standard of accommodation and its location we went back three times! The third visit was to buy this apartment as we loved it so much there! If you want luxury on holiday for a very affordable price, then I am sure that you will love this complex as much as we do.

Changeover day
Change over days Wednesdays (can be flexible out of high season). Apartment must be vacated by 10am on date of departure and available from 2pm on the date of arrival.

Dining table and 4 chairs in dining area.
Utility Room: Washing machine, iron and ironing board, linen basket, storage, cleaning equipment, safety deposit box. 4 sunbeds and small drinks table.
Living Rooms: Beautiful living room with views of the gardens and pool. Wall unit incorporating TV, DVD, CD Player, Sky TV, sofa bed (double bed), armchair and coffee table.

Towels, tea towels and bed linen included. Cleaning once per week on a Weds/changeover day.

Notes on accommodation
The apartment is fully air-conditioned in the summer months and heated in winter. The complex is perfect for families and couples alike. It is very safe for young children too as only residents are allowed in the complex via individual key. If you choose to book with I can guarantee you will not be disappointed and like us you will want to return there - and tell your friends all about it!

Outside
Full size swimming pool incorporating jacuzzi and children's area, beautiful landscaped gardens. The apartment has its own garden area perfect for sunbathing in the busier months and large patio with quality wooden furniture (seating for 4), perfect for alfresco dining.

Coast/Beach
Two beautiful beaches within 10 minutes walking distance from the apartment. Cala D'or beach 5 minutes by car.

Golf
There are many golf courses within the surrounding area, the closest being the stunning Val D'or course which is a 10-15 mins drive from the apartment.

Travel
Palma airport - 50 minutes from the apartment. Car Hire not necessary as all amenities are within walking distance of the apartment, however if you want to see more of this beautiful Island then I certainly recommend hiring a car.

Distances
Neighbouring Cala D'or is less than a 5 minute drive, or you may prefer to take the little train which runs between the local resorts. Cala D'or is packed with bars, shops, restaurants and all the normal amenities one would expect in an established holiday resport. The fashionable Marina with it's renowned restaurants is a 10 minute stroll from the apartment and well worth a visit (we love it there).

Further details
Cala Egos and Cala D'or are two of the prettiest resorts on Majorca and a firm favourite for families and couples alike. There are many restaurants suiting all tastes and prices. The luxury apartment is ideal for anyone looking for superb accommodation, lovely beaches, fantastic restaurants and bars. We will leave an information book in the apartment detailing the ones we have visited and like. Tennis courts/racket hire within 5 minutes walk, mini golf 5 minutes walk. Bike hire and supermarket opposite the complex.

Booking notes
There is a 20% non-refundable deposit payable upon booking, upon receipt of which you will receive a booking confirmation form. The full balance is to be paid 6 weeks before departure. There is also a £100 refundable damage deposit.

About the owner
Stuart and I are married and are blessed with 3 sons between us, one absolutely gorgeous granddaughter (born April 2010) - and of course one lovely daughter in law! Stuart is a project manager for a retail company and I am a practice manager for a firm of accountants. We love spending time at our apartment for total R & R. We adore the Spanish way of life - the food - the music - the language - everything! We feel that Majorca is truly our 2nd home and is very under-rated as a holiday destination! We have found lots of good restaurants off the beaten track - and try to mingle in with the locals as much as we can! When we purchased the apartment our youngest son was only 11 and he is now a young man - in fact he joined the Army in November 2010 and we are extremely proud of him!

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We loved the standard of the complex and the surrounding area - we felt that it was so much better than renting a property through a large tour operator! We took my mother there the very first time we visited the complex as she had not been on a foreign holiday since the sudden death of my beloved father - she absolutely loved it and felt so comfortable -complete "home from home" - as did we. It was due to that first holiday, the great memories and the standard of the apartment and complex that we decided to buy one as an investment for the future and are so glad that we did! We take great pride when guests also say that they love our apartment and then book for the following year! We will be spending alot of time @ our Spanish Casa in the future - that is certainly the plan!

Unique benefits of the property
It is very convenient for everything - restaurants, bars, shops, beaches - yet quiet enough to be away from the hustle and bustle of the resort - a truly perfect location!
