It is situated 5 mins walk away from the nearest ski lift and a 10 mins walk from the newly built gondola, which takes you straight to the top of the mountain. Alternatively, the ski bus stops directly opposite the apartment for easy access to the neighbouring village and ski resort. The village of Brand offers wonderful skiing in the winter, and is a paradise for walkers, hikers and golfers in the summer. Brand is a 70 mins drive from Friedrichshafen (Ryanair) or Innsbruck (Easyjet) airports, and a 90 mins drive from Zurich, with excellent rail connections to all three.

Changeover day
Mainly Saturday, but flexible during the summer. To allow for cleaning departure time not later than 10am and arrival time not before 2pm.

53 kilometres of well prepared runs to suit all abilities, including both downhill and cross-country. 2 ski-schools and a ski-kindergarten in the village.

Mountain hiking, climbing, canyoning and biking are all well provided for during the summer months.
Travel
Friedrichshafen airport (Ryanair) is a 70 minute drive away, or a 1 hour 45 minute train ride. Innsbruck airport (Easyjet) is a 70 minute drive. Zurich 1 hour 30 minute drive. Car hire is not essential as there is good public transport available.
Distances
The village centre in Brand is a 10 minute stroll, it's 4 kilometres to the neighbouring village of Buerseberg, and it's a 15 minute drive to Bluedenz (trains to Friedrichshafen, Innsbruck, Zurich).
