Changeover day
Arrivals are Saturdays. Check-in 4–7pm, for other arrival times please email the owners. Check-out on departure day 10am. Please note there is a 75 euros cleaning cost.

Accommodation

Notes on accommodation
Entrance leads to a heated ski room, with ample space for storing skis, boots, boards, bikes, golf clubs, etc. Available for guest use is a child booster seat, and child ski helmet. Ski hire shop 50m away at the Gondola station. The apartment is situated on the slopes, very near to the centre of Flachau and many traditional Austrian mountain restaurants, bars and shops. Flachau has a lively après ski atmosphere in high season with some bars having live music.

Accessibility
There are steps that lead down to the apartment which may not be suitable for the infirm. Access to the apartment is via a short mountain road leading to an allocated covered car port No 5 (snow chains may be required).

Outside
Large outside patio leads from the lounge, with fantastic views over the piste and valley. Fantastic for the non-skier who can watch you ski home and also meet you up at one of the mountain restaurants by accessing the nearby gondola, or at one of the two liveliest outside/inside après ski bars just 50m down the piste or road.

Golf
The nearest golf course is at Radstadt (approx 12km) 18 hole Par 71 course of 5,962m long off the men's tee. There is an 18 hole championship course, 9 hole practice course, 2 driving ranges and a putting area. The golf course will give the golfer of all abilities a good test of golf surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. Other courses are Goldegg (approx 40km) Fuschlau am See (approx 80km).

Skiing
Flachau is a charming and traditional village, an idyllic alpine resort. It is a village successfully combining traditional and modern, in a charming traditional alpine region some 10km south of Altenmarkt and is 1350m above sea level. Flachau`s ski area provides many beautiful ski runs for beginners and intermediate skiers and snowboarders alike. With extensive modern snow making facilities you are guaranteed snow, great piste conditions and modern lifts ensuring you of a super winter holiday. Flachau is in the ski area known as Salzburger Sportwelt. It is the ideal entry point into one of Austria's largest ski areas made up of the villages of Flachau, Wagrain, Flachauwinkl, Kleinarl, Zauchensee, Altenmarkt, Radstadt, Eben, Filzmoos, St Johann, Alpendorf and Goldegg. Flachau is at the very heart of the larger ski region known as Ski Amade - Austria's largest skiing group - with 5 top regions and 25 skiing destinations. One lift pass is all you need to experience Ski Amade area.

Travel
Flachau is situated just approx 40 mins from the beautiful city of Salzburg and approx 2 hours from Munich. Flachau has very easy access from Salzburg airport using good road and rail networks. At the airport there are many care hire companies and buses also run from the airport to the villages in and around Flachau. Whilst a car isn’t necessary for the Flachau area it is recommended if you wish to visit the ski resorts further away.

Booking notes
Non refundable deposit of £50 (70 euros) is required at time of booking and will be deducted from the total cost. The final balance will be due 8 weeks prior to the start of your holiday. A tourist tax of 1.30 euros per adult and final cleaning costs of £55 (75 euros) is also required with the final payment. Also a damage retainer of £150 (200 Euros) which is fully refundable when the keys are returned and our agents confirm there is no damage to the apartment or contents.
