Apartment Golf View is located on the edge of the beautiful village of Ellmau. It is a top floor apartment with unspoilt views from both of its balconies of the Wilder Kaiser Golf Course and Mountain range and the Hartkaiser Mountains. The nearest ski school is 500m away and the fantastic Hartkaiser Mountain Railway is less than 10 minutes walk. There are also countless cycle paths nearby and the huge water complex The Kaiserbad, which is open all year round.

Arrival can be any day. Arrival is usually after 3pm and departure before 10am.

| Living Rooms: | The living room is large and spacious. A balcony giving views of the ski-slopes. There is a beautiful round table with seating for 8. The sofa turns into a double bed. A TV/DVD player also provides CD playing facility. Books, Maps, CDs, games and DVDs. |
| Other: | This apartment is fortunate to have a large bike/ski store in the basement. This is ideal for an active holiday. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
End cleaning is charged at 40 euros per week for the property. In addition there is a 10 euros per person charge for laundry. This includes towels, bed linen and tea towels. Extra laundry will cost 10 euros per person. |

This apartment is on the top floor with quite a few steps, but the views are worth the climb.

Golf
The Kaiser Golf Course is a stone's throw away. It is a great course and has 27 holes.
Skiing
The nearest ski school is 500m away and the ski lifts are no more than a 10 minute walk. The mountain railway is very close and can be used all year round. There are 4 ski schools in Ellmau all within easy walking distance. Snowboarding school and snow tubing are also available.
Special interest holidays
The area is well known for mountain biking. There are numerous marked walking routes, catering for all levels of ability. Going, the next village has an outdoor activity centre offering a range of activities including rock climbing, white water rafting and paragliding.
Travel
Ellmau is easily accessed from Munich (130km), Salzburg (85km) or Innsbruck (90km). There is car hire available from the airports, a good public transport service or taxi and transfer companies. Four Seasons Travel are very reasonable and have a door to door service.
Distances
Ellmau is situated in the heart of the Tirol region of Austria, with the town of Soll 10km away. The larger town of St. Johann inTirol is 12km away and Kitzbuehel about 15km. There are regular bus services from Ellmau, and the Tourist Office runs excursions to Salzburg, the home of Mozart. There are many attractions within about a one hour drive, including Krimml Waterfall, Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse, Zell am See, Jochberg Mine and Rattenberg.
Further details
Ellmau has a variety of traditional and specialist restaurants which are extremely friendly, and many mountain restaurants located on the walking/skiing routes. There are 3 banks and gift shops. There are also 2 well stocked small supermarkets and 2 bakeries.
The tourist office is very friendly and will provide lift/ski passes. You can hire bikes in the village as the cycling is great and some of the lifts will carry the bikes to the top of the mountains for you. Then all you have to do is cycle down!
The Kaiserbad swimming complex is fantastic in any season, with indoor and outdoor pools countless slides and flumes, and sports areas.
At the top of the Ellmau Railway, Scheffau and Soll lifts there are wonderful play and adventure areas aimed at children. These are newly built and can entertain for hours. You will also find newly refurbished restaurants in these locations.
Booking notes
To secure a reservation 30% of the total rent is required. This amount is non refundable in the event of subsequent cancellation.
The full balance is due 8 weeks before the start of the holiday plus 100 Euro refundable damage deposit. The balance is non refundable in the event of cancellation, but the 100 Euro damage deposit will be returned.
We kindly ask our guests to leave the apartment in the same condition as they find it.

We stayed in Apartment Golf View in May 2007. We found the accommodation spacious and clean. Everything we needed has been thought of. We even received a welcome basket of goodies.
