Built in 2006 to the Owner's exacting specifications our luxury south facing chalet has many excellent amenities. The list includes: spacious lounge with comfortable seating opening directly onto a terrace overlooking the lawned gardens. There's a formal dining area, lounge area with satellite TV and a bar with stereo system. Winter garden room with library and a separate wood panelled Stuberl in traditional Austrian style. Our full sized private wellness suite includes sauna, steam room and relaxation area. All bedrooms have well appointed bathrooms, TV, internet and balcony. Owners Penthouse suite is available as an add-on option if required. The resort centre and gondola lift are 400m away and the village outdoor swimming pool is a similar distance.

Notes on prices
SUMMER Prices (May-Oct) are based on Weekly rental for up to 15 guests in 6 bedrooms - self catering. Supplementary charge applies for Penthouse rental.
WINTER Prices are based on FULLY CATERED BASIS - Breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner for 7 nights. FOR SOLE OCCUPANCY minimum of 12 paying guests required. Owners Penthouse accommodating additional 4 can be added at a supplementary charge.
SMALLER GROUP?? Individual bookings or part chalet are accepted on many dates - call for info.
Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible but normally on Saturdays. Check in after 3pm - check out 9.00am.

Outside
The Chalet living room has large glass doors which lead onto the sunny south facing terraces overlooking its extensive lawned gardens.
Golf
One kilometre from the Chalet Panorama on a high plateau between Saalfelden and Maria Alm, you will find one of the most beautiful Championship golf courses anywhere in the Alps- the Urslautal Golf Course! This 18-hole course (Par 71) was created in 1993, presenting golfers with all kinds of sporting challenges accompanied by compelling scenery and an imposing mountain backdrop.
Skiing
The Hochkönig ski circuit offers 33 lifts and 150 kilometres of non-stop connecting tree lined trails between Maria Alm, Hintermoos, Hinterthal, Dienten and Mühlbach.
The village slopes are within 300m of Chalet Panorama and are served by a high speed gondola to Natrun. The main skiing area is at Aberg with extensive slopes for all grades. This also marks the starting point of Königstour 32km of trails over the four valleys and back.
Travel
Nearest airport is Salzburg, around one hour by road. There are numerous low cost carriers flying regular services into Salzburg at excellent rates. Ryanair have regular flights from London Stansted to Salzburg. British Airways operates from London Gatwick to Salzburg and London Heathrow to Munich. Easyjet operates from London Gatwick to Salzburg or Innsbruck and Manchester to Munich which is convenient for Maria Alm with a transfer time of Approx. 2 1/2 hours.
Distances
The historic city of Salzburg is less than an hours drive away and nearby Zell am See is worth a visit with its quaint old town set on one of the biggest lakes in Austria. Grossglockner and Königsee near the border of Germany are also within easy reach.
Further details
Maria Alm offers a variety of activities including tobogganing, horse drawn sleigh rides and night skiing in winter. The village also has a good selection of lively bars and excellent restaurants.
Booking notes
Damage Deposit: A Key Card damage deposit of £750 is payable in advance by credit card to our Head Office in the UK. This deposit is held and only processed if necessary.
End of stay cleaning charge: If required we can arrange this at a supplementary charge of £125.
Linen:Towel and bed linen hire available at £12 per person per week.
Utilities charge:This will be deducted from your Damage Deposit.

"Dine Like a King"
I've been on about 10 snowboarding holidays around the world so I’m qualified to say this is the best by a clear mile...
We had a fantastic holiday here this year (and looking to return next year). The chalet and staff are handpicked from the perfect isle. They really get to know the guests and put themselves out to ensure a perfect stay. Thierry ‘Master Chef’ not only creates ‘Michelin standard’ meals but he even picked us up when we stranded ourselves in the next town!

"Ski Holiday with a Difference"
Having been skiing since I was a kid this was the best accommodation I have stayed in be it in Europe or Canada. The chalet is gorgeous, the staff absolutely awesome and the food was fantastic after a hard day skiing. Thanks a lot chef! The spa area is great, the views are stunning!
Will I go back? Absolutely YES. And hopefully in a bigger group.
