The bar

We are in a popular location near the town of Hermagor, so it's away from the town type noisy location but not too far. We sit just behind the church of Förolach, and for those without transport, the local bus stops at the end of the road. A 10 minute walk will bring you to Presseger See lake where you can swim, hire boats and pedaloes and enjoy other watersports, there's a big play park for the kids there too - and for the more mature kids(!) there are cafes and bars. Onsite we have a bar so you can enjoy sampling the local wines and beers either in the bar or outside in the deck chairs, sun loungers or tables, we are also open to the locals. Out and about we have leaflets of the local attractions on hand for you, we are also close to the Italian and Slovenian borders for great days out and different cullinary delights, the possibilities are endless!

All our bed and breakfast rooms are all ensuite most have balconies.

All our self catering facilities have a fridge, cooker, pots, pans, cutlery, utensils and a fresh coffee maker also a dining area and are also ensuite with balconies we also have a ground floor apartment with no stairs for disabled or infirm. This room needs to be booked in advance.

Notes on accommodation
We have full central heating, children and animals welcome.
Accessibility
We have a ground level apartment suitable for disabled wheelchair users it sleeps 4 adults and 2 children and access to the bar/breakfast room can be ramped (BUT please book this room in advance). My wife also happens to be a fully qualified NHS sister if needed or if you need pharmacy advice.
Outside
We have 2 gardens with sun loungers, deckchairs, benches tables chairs and parasols, a large private car park.
Skiing
We are close to the ski resort of Nassfeld with a huge ski area on the Italian border check out the skiarena.at website and click on the language flag of choice in the top right hand corner, they got web cams up there too! There is too much for me to list here and the free ski bus is a few meters walk from our door.
Travel
Our nearest Austrian airport is Klagenfurt approximately 50 kilometers or 45 minute drive, and the Slovenian airport in Lubijana is about 80 kilometers or 1hr 30 mins and our local train staion is 1 kilometer (Förolach/Görtschach).
Distances
Hermagor is 8 kilometers away, Presseger See lake is about a 10 minute walk and as for the mountains if you go out the front door and look down at your feet - you'll be stood on it!
