Chalet Gretl has off-road parking, a sun terrace, barbeque, 3 balconies and garden.
Golf
The superb Zell am See Golf Club is just a five minute drive from Chalet Great. The club has TWO 6000m courses of championship standard offering a host of challenges to the keen golfer and there can be few more beautiful settings anywhere in the world. The Club also has a driving range, pro shop and clubhouse. Within an hours drive their are another 20 courses, any of which can be played on the same 5 round ticket. NB Golfers must have a sub 36 handicap and be a member of a recognised golf club in their home country.
Skiing
Zell am See/Kaprun is a paradise for skiers and boarders of all ages, sizes and abilities, with 132 km of downhill runs on the 'Shmittenhohe' at Zell and the 'Kitzsteinhorn' glacier at nearby Kaprun. For the more experienced skiier there are over 40km of black runs, while for the less daring there are easy blues and a mix of easy and more challenging reds to help build your skills. Boarders are spoilt for choice with huge, wide pistes, loads of off-piste opportunities, natural halfpipes and the new 30000m2 'Snowpark'. Cross Country fans have over 200km of trails available including a 5km night trail. And if you tire of all this, there are over 15 other resorts within just 30km of the Chalet.
Travel
Salzburg Airport is a one hour (80km) drive from Chalet Gretl. Public transport in Austria is very quick and efficient and there is a bus from the airport to Zell am See (1hr 20) and the hourly train service from Salzburg (1hr 15 express, 1hr 50 slow train) takes you straight to Zell am See. Car hire is available at the airport at very reasonable costs if pre-booked (please ask us for info).
Distances
Chalet Gretl is a 5 minute walk from the many facilities of Schuttdorf and 3 km from the centre of Zell am See. The lake is just 600m. Their are many great restaurants which we can recommend and the pubs range from mild to the wild.

Booking notes
Security deposit 500 euros per booking. This acts as your deposit for the booking and security against damage/breakages. Provided there are no damages/breakages this will be returned at the end of your stay. In the event of damages/breakages, the balance of the security deposit will be returned after deducting either the cost of repair/replacements or for larger/more expensive items/damage the excess on the insurance policy. Balance payable 6 weeks before arrival. Credit cards accepted (4% fee).
