Our apartment is on the 2nd floor of a typically Tyrolean building in the centre of the village of Hopfgarten. It is less than a 5 minute walk to the gondola station and only 3 minutes from the Hopfgarten Berg Lift Railway station. The apartment provides 120 square metres of accommodation and has 3 bedrooms. There is a very large open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area. There is a balcony leading from the lounge and one of the bedrooms. There are 2 separate bathrooms (1 with shower and bath and 1 separate wc and sink) and a private underground parking space. There is also a private ski storage area. There is also a small outside communal garden area. The apartment is right in the centre of town and is within easy walking distance of shops, bars and restaurants.

Accessibility
Our apartment is situated on the 2nd floor and access is via stairs so may not be suitable for people with mobility problems.
Outside
There is a private balcony and small communal garden area.
Skiing
The apartment is less than 5 minutes away from the gondola station which provides access to the Ski Welt area. The Ski Welt has over 250 km of runs (apx 94 lifts) to suit beginners, intermediates and there are a couple of black runs for advanced skiers. The resort links to the popular resorts of Soll, Brixen, Ellmau, Scheffau, Itter and Going. The Ski Welt lift pass also covers the resorts of Westendorf and Kelschau. The resort of Kitzbuhel can be accessed via a very short bus ride at the foot of the Ki-West run in Westendorf. There are numerous mountain restaurants. The resort of Hopfgarten has a couple of excellent ski schools and all equipment can be hired at the shop by the lift station.
Travel
The nearest airport is Innsbruck which is 75 kilometres away. Salzburg airport is 90 kilometres and Munich 190 kilometres. There are train links from all the above airports and the station in Hopfgarten is only a 3 minute walk from the apartment. Flights are available from Ryanair, Easyjet, Thomsonfly, Flybe, BA, Lufthansa etc
Distances
Our apartment is situated in the centre of the village of Hopfgarten. Innsbruck and Salzburg are probably the nearest large cities and are easily accessible for a day trip.
Further details
The apartment is central for supermarkets, banks, bakers, restaurants etc. The Tyrol is a beautiful region of Austria and is an ideal base for a summer holiday. Some of the lifts open throughout the summer months for walkers to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Mountain biking, paragliding, fishing, swimming, golf, horse riding are all available close by.
Booking notes
A deposit of £100 is required on booking. A booking form is sent/emailed once a booking is made and the deposit should be returned with this. The balance is due 6 weeks prior to arrival in apartment.
