The main ski lift in Zell (City Express) is 400 metres away. Bus station that brings skiers to cable cars at foot of Schmittenhohe mountain or to Kaprun or other adjacent skiing areas is 200 metres from house.
Special interest holidays
Great for hill walking, paragliding and all sports on the lake.
Travel
Zell can be accessed from Salzburg (1.25 hours by car) or Munich (2.50 hours by car). Train station served by all of Western Europe runs through centre of town.

Our visit to the house in Zell was excellent. The house is well positioned in a quiet road two minutes from the lake side and children’s summer park and two minutes from the main shopping area and restaurants. The house matched up to the description and was in excellent condition and immaculately clean. Customer service was fine - all worked as planned and communication was good. All in all I would thoroughly recommend this property to future holiday makers.
We celebrated Christmas 2010 in the O’Hara’s beautiful house in Zell am See and we can highly recommend it. The house was just perfect both for our three children and their grandparents for a week’s holiday in the snow. Lots of space for 7 persons and very nicely furnished with a personal touch and a quality you will rarely find even in high end holiday apartments. We all profited from the perfect location in the centre of the city and a few minutes’ walk from the ski lifts.

About the owner
My wife and I and our two young children live in Ireland. Having been to Zell a number of times in Winter, we decided to stay for a 3 week summer holiday and fell in love with the place. We bought a new apartment in Zell in 2007 and bought a house in 2010. Both are unusual in that they are spacious 3 bed properties right in the centre of Zell. Both are treated as our home away from home. We stay in our house or apartment at different times of the year.

From numerous restaurants to luxury hotels, Zell is what you make of it. An old town (they call it a city) with lots of charm and plenty of ways to spend your money whether your budget is large or small.
