Notes on prices
Prices shown are per apartment per week in Euros. The price shown for apartment A is for 10 people, price for 11 or 12 occupancy available on request. All prices include heating, cleaning, bed linen and towels. Prices exclude tourist tax which is payable locally at a cost of 1.50 Euro per adult per night.

Changeover day
Saturday is the preferred changeover day. Arrival at 3pm. Departure at 10am.

Apartment A (4 Bedrooms, Sleeps 10)

Apartment A is ideal for a large family group or a group of friends. It is on the first floor and consists of 2 double bedded rooms and 2 triple bedded rooms. All have en-suite shower rooms with WC. There is a dining room with colour TV, DVD player. fully fitted kitchen complete with microwave, dishwasher, fridge with freezer box, kettle, coffee maker, electric ceramic hob and oven.

Apartment B (1 Bedroom, Sleeps 2/4)

Apartment B is a small apartment on the ground floor and is suitable for 2-4 people. It consists of a hallway. Double bedroom with sink unit. Shower room with WC. Dining/living room with double sofa bed, colour TV, DVD player. Small kitchen area equipped with fridge with freezer box, double electric hotplate, microwave with grill, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and sink.

Notes on accommodation
Bed linen, towels and tea towels are supplied. Cot, highchair, baby monitor, and toys are available.Welcome pack of groceries also available on request.

Outside
Large garden with children's play equipment. Guest terrace with chairs, tables, parasol and BBQ. Private parking.

Skiing
The Hochkönig ski area has 39 lifts, 150 km of groomed slopes and 40 km of maintained cross-country trails ranging from 900 to 2000m above sea level.The area has a good record for snow. From our house the free ski bus is just 5 minutes walk, and this takes you either to the Mitterberg-Hochkeil area, which is excellent for children and beginners, or the cable car where you can ski from Mühlbach to Maria Alm and back, if you have the energy. From the cable car you can ski right back to the village and to within 2 minutes of our house, snow conditions permitting.

Travel
Getting here by plane is very easy as there are several different airlines that fly from the UK to Salzburg. The transfer time from Salzburg is only about 45 minutes, mainly by Autobahn.

Distances
20 minutes to Hohenwerfen castle. This is the castle that was used in the film 'Where Eagles Dare'. 15 mins to championship 18-hole golf course at Maria Alm. 45 mins to Salzburg.

Further details
The village has a supermarket, an excellent bakers, tourist information, 2 banks, post office, chemist, cafes, restaurants and bars. Leisure activities include walking, climbing, fishing, swimming, tennis, children's activites, mine museum and hang-gliding. In the summer the Karbachalm cable car from near the village, will take you up to a height of 1600 metres to begin your walk. There are fantastic views of the Hochkönig mountain range and many typical Austrian mountain restaurants to enjoy.
